You already list the Parlang, which the review on your site no longer represents. The Mudmhee restaurant is next to the Parlang and down a small side street.

Tucked away in the Old Town, Secret Garden serves good light meals and delicious cakes in a comfortable a/c lounge or out on a shaded patio. Quiet music tracks from house to samba to cumbia play in the background. There's a multilingual browsing library, and...MoreThank you Max - it was great to have you here. All the best on your future travels!

As some reviews have suggested this restaurant is difficult to find in terms of a line of very similar ones right on the beach. You need to look at each roadside frontage for the sign in english or check the name of restaurant on the staff shirts! They change colour each day. If you want a table right at the front you need to get there 5 ish. If you are after plush loos and fancy table wear - this def isn't for you but if you can deal with aged plastic Seating, dodgy tables and some overtly keen cats in order to get some guaranteed great fish then stick with it. You can see men galloping horses and nightly kite flying as beach entertainment - though the staff tend to lounge between clients on the board walk which isn't conducive to a clear beach/sea view! Choose your fish from the selection out front. If you go for the XL prawns they are expensive and can be a little solid/tough so I would recommend the size smaller - (still as long as your hand) for 600/700 bt/kilo. Also the red fish (red mullet is??) is a large helping for 2 and all for 250 bt approx. They'll cook them any which way your choose - but keep it simple unless you speak good Thai! Morning Glory and fried rice are a great accompliment. We ate here twice. If you are after great, plain fresh fish - no need to look further this is your place.

I recommend this place as a bar, beers are cold, big tv showing sports, fast Wi-Fi 20mbps but the restaurant side is so-so.
Their menu is impressive but some of the food is not available, I tried there chicken cordon blue which was good 8/10 cost around 180 baht and I also tried their jumbo hamburger which was disappointing 5/10 cost 180 baht.

I ordered the stir fried morning glory 10/10, and deep fried fish pieces 8/10, ( 4 pieces) plus a bottle of coke, the total bill was 260 baht.
The restaurant is clean and simply furnished, no air conditioning or Wi-Fi. The Delivery of my order was slow, about 20 minutes.
Trip advisor map is correct.

A great addition to Songkhla. Kleun Ngam uses traditional family recipes to create delicious and unusual dishes. The staff are terrific and the menu is constantly updated, so one visit isn't enough. I am going back just as soon as I can.

Nice and cosy restaurant with out door bamboo setting. Restaurant run by family members. Staff are very friendly and concern over the food they served. Walked to me and asked whether the food are fine and any other extra serving.
Patience while explaining the food and the ingredients. Marvelous food and a very reasonable price.
Best, it is halal.
