One of the smaller hotels in town. Friendly staff. Nice and cosy. Beach at the front appears cleaner than the rest of the hotels on the same strip. Food is average.Dear PenFoodie, firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time to write a review on our wonderful resort. As you have mentioned we are currently one of the smaller hotels within Honiara with only 35 rooms - with plans to add an additional 65 over due course. Your comment regarding our food offering is somewhat questionable as we take great pride in sourcing all of the best, freshest ingredients and even importing particular items in that are not available here in the country. Chefs are also sourced from around the globe to ensure our food offering is a step above the rest. Should you be returning to the resort at any time please contact me directly so that I may show you how very different we are. Sincerely, Trent Allan - Coral Sea Resort

During our two days in Honiara, we had all our meals here. Service was always friendly and attentive. Food was tasty, on the whole, but we would not recommend the overpriced Black Forest Cake. Coffees can be luke-warm, rather than hot. The local beer tastes better than the imported Tiger. Whatever you do, do not change foreign currency at the hotel. While claiming that they offer "the best rates," they in fact only offered $680 for $100 USD. At the airport, I got $780!Dear Professional-Pilgrim,Greetings from Coral Sea Resort.Thank you for choosing us and for your review. We're glad you found the service always friendly and attentive, and the food tasty. We're sorry our coffee was not up to your liking. Our wait staff has had additional training and the coffee quantities are adapted as well. Staff training in vocational and technical skills are an ongoing process, but huge improvements have been made.We do offer better currency exchanges rates, between Bank of Pacific (BSP) and Western Union - thus allowing Coral Sea Casino Money Exchange to provide the best rates in the Solomon Islands. We thank you for bringing these to our attention, enabling us to work on these and progress.Tagio tumas.Warm RegardsSteven Cameron Acting Resort Manager
The name itself - Cowboy's Grill - is almost synonymous with partying! It conjures images of live band entertainment, good food and clean fun which makes it the best place to hang-out with your loved ones, families and friends.
Business dinner here was superb. Table service was excellent and prices thou somewhat on the expensive side by Solomon Is standards the staff were well trained and efficient.
