We are an independent, award-winning, family run restaurant with a panoramic countryside view. All of our dishes celebrate locally sourced ingredients. Our pork dishes are lovingly made using our own home-grown, RSPCA Assured Freedom Food pork. We hang ou
Discovering a vegetarian menu which doesn't rely on tired old 1980s' recipes of mushrooms, mushrooms and then more mushrooms can be a problem. It's also pretty annoying if you're allergic to or don't like mushrooms. If you share this view then we can't recommend highly enough The Barn at Berryfields (and no, we don't know them). The menu is just a total delight from start to finish with twists here and there (e.g. incredible salsa with the calamari), some really innovative veggie and vegan dishes, excellent fresh fish (changes daily depending what's available so the specials are, we think, always different), and great puddings. We don't eat meat but from what we saw going to the tables, the carnivores are well catered for. Beer's good too. The chef should walk the floor - we'd love to have spoken to him/her. The staff were friendly and knowledgable - they knew the menus (something which is all too often not the case. You know you've hit a dud when the person serving doesn't know what the soup of the day is, or if it's been made with vegetable or chicken stock - needless to say that didn't happen at The Barn.) They smiled, made eye contact and actually projected a feeling of 'we like to work here'. Priceless. And sharing pictures of our Goldies was good fun as well. We were passing through on a cold, dark, wet night in November and the place was buzzing. Not surprising. 10/10 all round. No, on second thoughts, they have to have points deducted because they declined to relocate to Lancashire.

The Cross, Kenilworth is a pub restaurant serving excellent food, cooked by award winning chefs. The Cross started out as an inn back in the 19th century and was recently refurbished to reveal its original features. Expect a warm welcome, friendly service
Having visited midweek for a set menu lunch I thought that this restaurant was nice enough for a birthday celebration. They have received their first Michelin Star this year and our party could see why. The attention to detail is excellent, the staff are attentive without being intrusive, the Sunday Lunch a la carte menu offered is excellent and the food was exquisite. The drinks menu is the most comprehensive I have ever seen, with a lovely range of virgin cocktails and non alcoholic drinks for anyone driving. I really could not recommend it highly enough and hope that this is the first of many visits for special occasions.

Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will. Beefeater b
I was on a business trip for two nights with my colleague staying at the Premier Inn next door and had breakfast there on the two mornings 18th and 19th September. I visit a lot of these places on my journeys around the UK but I have to say this is the best one by far. Why? Well its early morning around 6.30am to 7am so not everyone is a happy bunny until you come across the man who served myself and my colleague. The chap's name is Phil. A top man who was a ray of sunshine, happy, cheerful and amusing. Absolutely set us up for the day. Not only that but the breakfast was top notch courtesy of Craig in the kitchen who made this particular fussy individual a breakfast absolutely to order. This establishment should be proud of having these guys working there.

Fine Dining is the order of the day at the award winning Oak Room Restaurant at Nailcote Hall. The food is truly exceptional and the atmosphere is both welcoming and intimate. The hotel has been termed âone of the most romantic hotels in Englandâ by the A
We had lunch at the Oak Room restaurant on a Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Iâm not sure whether the menu is different on Sundays but the mains seemed to be pretty much carvery fare. The starters were tasty and beautifully presented. My husband and I both had the roast beef for our mains and it was delicious - perfectly pink and so tender. Our daughter had a vegetarian option which looked very appealing. Accompanying vegetables were not over cooked which was great. And desserts were lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful and prices reasonable. We would definitely return.

Our Sunday roasts were not hot or fresh enough. The roast potatoes seemed old and warmed up not piping hot fresh from the oven as they should be.HI Jo,Thank you for your honest feedback, the chefs cook the roast potatoes in batches. We would gladly replace if the server is made aware. We hope to see you again soon.Kind Regards,John BrittonGeneral Manager

Situated in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside, just 3 1/2 miles from the historic town of Kenilworth, the 'famous' Tipperary Inn on New End Road provides delicious home cooked food available all day together with a great selection of real ales and qu
Popped in whilst staying at the nearby Mercure, about a 20 minute walk.Enjoyed a cold beer whilst reviewing the nice mixture of Italian dishes on offer, service was nice and friendly throughout.Decided to go for there fixed menu at £16.95, which was any starter and any pasta, pizza or chicken dish.i think there was also one that included a desert for a few pounds more.Opted for scallops with bacon to start, extremely tasty served with a nice sauce. For mains I went pizza, and the pizza was nice enough, so no complaints there, wrapped up with a carafe of house white, and the bill was under £30.00.Certainly plan to return to explore more of the menu, certainly recommend this place to anyone who likes good food.

We ate here on a Friday night. 7 of us ordered starters and mains. You order at the bar so fair enough I didnât expect amazing service but when you get to the bar there were 3 young lads who fancied their bucket and couldnât really be bothered to serve you. The ladies all ran round all night but even they walked past our plates that sat in front of us for over 30 mins after we had finished our meal. Large Sauvignon is over £9. So youâd expect a better service & quality when paying more for drinks. At least table service if it is not overly busy, the staff definitely had time!! Steak was very undercooked in the middle. Near blue. Pub grub & also website says CHEFS NEEDED, which is perhaps why the food wasnât great. Not sure if I would go back or not. Perhaps avoid until they have chefs??... It wouldnât be a regular haunt.
