Bakery
Of the different baked goods that I have tried at this bakery none have disappointed me. While the prices are high the quality is excellent. I often go in to look through their section of day-old bread to get discounts and still eat delicious baked goods. Just about anything that’s related to moose can be found in his bakery for sale. From aprons to T-shirts; if there’s a moose on it this bakery has it.

This is one of the two best coffee shops in Soldotna...the other one is the Kaladi's located on the Sterling Highway in the mall parking lot. Their coffee is fresh and tasty...never burnt...and they offer a wide variety of flavors/syrups.

Senior ponchos has always been a great Mexican restaurant. Seating was limited to a very small space but recently they have expanded their area and doubled their seating. They are still in the process of the remodel and expansion but that has not slowed down or affected the amount of food they put out every day or the quality of their fare.
Make sure you stop by the new senior ponchos in Soldotna and tell Poncho hello.

Loved the chicken almond sandwich at Odie's Deli. The sandwich was HUGE - two of us could not finish one sandwich! Bread was super fresh! Highly recommend Odie's Deli!

I understand there are only about 3 or 4 Dairy Queens in all of Alaska, so naturally this place is kept busy, busy, busy when it's open. We saw a steady stream of vehicles go through the drive through while we were seated inside. There's always a line at the cash register to order inside as well. Just what you'd expect as far as food . . . it's Dairy Queen!

Usually I just get redbull specials and they are delicious there, but the other day I went to go get a coffee and I was a little nervous it wouldn't be as good as I hoped. I ordered a French cream mocha and it was wonderful. I completely enjoyed it. And all the girls that I've ordered drinks from there are really nice!

At St. Elias Brewing Company, we believe in handcrafting innovative, high quality, world class beers. Our beers match the personality of our business, fun and lively, yet historic and eclectic. Brewing on a 7 barrel brewhouse, we promise our product will arrive fresh in your glass, as beer was intended. Why should your beer travel across the country to your glass, when you can get one fresh from across the room?
It has been over two years since I ate here. I stopped going partially because of how loud it was. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had installed sound dampeners on the ceiling and it was much easier to have a conversation. The food is great. They provide a good assortment of pizzas and salads. The sweet Alaska salad is great but was disappointed at how drenched the salad leaves were in the dressing. We also tried a Mexican salad and it was disappointing. The salad leaves were overflowing the plate and the dressing was so thick you had to dip it out of the ramekin to get any. Usually we go for the pizzas and haven’t been too disappointed with those. They also have great beer and root beer.
