We wanted to eat here every night! The food was wonderful. The cooking is authentic Chinese. I have been doing business in China for 40 years and I know Chinese food. Their takes on it are spot on! Service was excellent. Presentation...beautiful. The location of the room is just beautiful. The windows overlook the side of the mountain with all types of vegetation. Very romantic! It's the type of place where everyone speaks in whispers.

We included a breakfast plan with our room reservation. It was a daily $125.00 per couple value. The buffet was as good as any I have received at a hotel. It was varied and freshly prepared. The staff was wonderful and very helpful.

Part of our experience mirrored some others who've reviewed this restaurant. 2 tables that arrived after us received their food before our order was taken. I don't believe this was done intentionally, but happened because the staff is disorganized. Everyone is friendly enough. We were getting a bit perturbed by the situation, then all of a sudden, our food arrived. The food was excellent, and worth the wait. I forgot about the earlier issues. We had Seafood with Tofu, Chop Choy, and Salt Squid ... with white rice, tea, and beer. The Seafood and Tofu was one of the best Chinese dishes I've ever had. The place is clean and large. Prices are reasonable, there are English menus, and although seemingly disorganized, the staff is friendly. Every taxi in town knows the place simply as "The Chinese Restaurant". I'd definitely eat here again.

Had a nice meal here with Asian food options. Great setting for a cocktail near the lagoon facing overwater bungalows. Good menu and drink options and the service was excellent. Recommend stopping for a cocktail and a meal.

My husband and I had lunch here a couple of days ago as part of a jet ski tour from the Four Seasons. The hostess/restauranteur was friendly and welcoming as were her staff and we had lovely service. The restaurant is nestled between a moderately busy (for Bora Bora) road out back and a beautiful beach in front and is literally right on the beach. It is very casual and beachy in itâs ambience. The menu was great...plenty of choice. I had the Poisson Cru to start which was just divine. Hubby had a scallop ceviche which he said was nice but didnât rave about. I canât recall his main meal. My main was the red tuna. It was also very nice and beautifully presented. It did somehow need a bit more flavour to it and I wished Iâd kept the coconut milk concoction from my Poisson Cru to pour over it. The PC was one of the nicest Iâve ever had! The wine list was a bit limited as expected for casual dining I guess. I had a glass of pinot grigio which wasnât all that nice. Canât recall what it was but I think there was only one option for PG by the glass. Hubby tried the Vodka beer and the Hinano and preferred the Hinano.

We ate here regularly whilst staying at the St Regis. Great service. For us the portions were too big, but we are getting used to that, unfortunately, as we hate waste. The Tahitian evening with dancing was a highlight.
