Despite its name and reputation as a world-class ski resort, Snowmass is not just a one-season Colorado wonder. More than 3,000 acres of terrain parks and halfpipes woo skiers and snowboarders, but 40 miles of hiking and biking trails keep active travelers on the move when the snow melts. The mountain town's boutiques and casual eateries complement the festivals, free music events and rodeo held each summer. When the flakes fall again, a groomed cross-country ski trail links Snowmass to Aspen.

Viceroy Snowmass is the crown jewel of Snowmass Village, Colorado. Designed by Jean-Michel-Gathy of Denniston International, the resort is environmentally conscious through responsible choices of finishes and materials and is a community leader in green operations and guest service offerings. Recently named the #1 Resort Hotel in Colorado in the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards 2021, the resort offers guests the perfect balance of relaxation and exhilaration. It starts in the lounge, where skiers coast in and out as the snow falls and fire roars during the winter season. It carries through to the restaurant, where the flavors of Colorado high country make you feel right at home. It comes to life in the spa, where you can escape and unwind after a day of skiing, snowboarding, biking, or hiking. With every elevated experience, at any time of year, there’s a certain euphoria in knowing what’s just outside: the cinematic, snow-capped mountains of Snowmass Village.
I would recommend Viceroy SnowMass very highly. Antonio was very in tune to our needs and very efficient. He deserves to be in Management! Antonio is such an asset to the hospitality/travel industry! We had a very pleasant experience at Viceroy SnowMass and the entire staff was warm and welcoming.

Opened in December of 2018, the new Limelight Hotel and Residences brings its warm hospitality style and famous Lounge to the heart of Snowmass Village. The 99-guestroom hotel features the same laid-back luxury that made the Limelight Hotels in Aspen, Colorado and Ketchum, Idaho famous (with a dash of family-centric fun to make it uniquely Snowmass). The new hotel features an ice rink, climbing wall, lively lounge, and a play area for kids.
We just spent a week in Snowmass at the Limelight and this was a fantastic hotel. The service was impeccable; the room was beautiful, clean and big and the hotel staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The hotel loaned my husband and son an EV car so they could replace a lost phone (after a ski wipe out) in Basalt CO. When I had to take a day off from skiing the concierge kindly loaned me snowshoes for a little excursion and he drove me to a hiking trail. The hotel has a great vibe; the lobby has great food and apres ski artisan pizzas, drinks, etc. The breakfast is included and it was an incredible spread every morning. It really was just a lovely stay with a staff that always made you feel at home; made us dinner reservations whenever we asked and answered any question. I would stay at any Limelight property after this. Also, they allow dogs, which really added character to the whole stay and made it seem homey. They also arranged our ski equipment so that was seamless when we arrived; it's ski in and ski out so you can store your equipment in the hotel. We just loved the Limelight and would definitely return!

Pokolodi Lodge is one of Snowmass Village's most popular lodges. Conveniently located adjacent to the Village Mall and to the Snowmass Ski Area, the Pokolodi prides itself on service and family friendliness. Each room is equipped with color cable TV, refrigerators, coffee makers and hair dryer. Relax in the outdoor heated swimming pool and hot tub. Daily maid service, ski storage and laundry facilities are also provided. Shuttle service to and from the Aspen/Snowmass Airport is complimentary during business hours. The Pokolodi Lodge is a great choice for Snowmass lodging needs in both summer and winter.
This is an older hotel, but I was so impressed with the room remodel. My husband and I had a room with two queens. The solid oak mission style furniture held all of our clothes. Six large deep drawers, and 3 shallow ones enabled us to unpack the suitcases and store them underneath the hanging clothes rack, with still plenty of room to hang our coats. The bathroom remodel was also well done, with granite countertops and a tiled shower, it felt like I was in a more upscale hotel. Two sections of hooks along the back wall and a rack for hanging skis accommodated everything, helmets, ski pants, extra coats, and of course skis. The easy walk to the slopes was just a block away, and the pool and hot tub were right outside our door. I left my Yeti cup at the pool one night and didn’t remember till the next day. I could see it was no longer at the pool and I thought for sure it was gone for good. I called the front desk and explained the situation. By that afternoon Dave called me and said my cup was found and returned to my room. That’s the best part! The outside entrance to our room was actually quite convenient, easy access to the pool and the few stairs to Daly Lane and Snowmass Village Transit. A few more stairs and you were at Snowmass Mall. It was a great location at a good price!

I visited the Viewline Resort for my birthday in the beginning in April and I was just blown away. I reached out to the Front Office Manager, Nelson to let him know that I was celebrating a special occasion and they indeed took care of me. I was assigned an amazing suite facing the gondolas at Snowmass. Our balcony was extremely spacious and was just perfect for the occasion. Suellen who checked me in sent me a nice gift and a handwritten note as well. For some reasons, their Room Service was not available one night, but the restaurant delivered our food to our room anyways. Even though we had no problems picking it up, they still went above and beyond for us. We truly felt so special! I will definitely return to the Viewline Resort, hopefully in the summer too!! Thank you Viewline Team!!

The Crestwood is an ideally situated condominium property in both summer and winter offering skiing, hiking and biking access out your front door. Comprised of one to four bedroom units (some with loft) and is conveniently located between the Village Express Lift and the Elk Camp Gondola (now running in summer and winter). Its proximity to the Snowmass Base Village allows for an easy walk to après ski, dinner and the Children’s Treehouse/Ski School. The Crestwood prides itself on the best service personnel and widest range of services offered by a condominium hotel in the Aspen/Snowmass resort area. Each unit is individually owned and decorated providing a unique stay. They all have a living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a TV/VCR/DVD in the living room, FREE wireless internet access throughout the property and a private balcony with a gas BBQ grill in each condo. Having recently completed $15 million exterior renovation which includes a face lift to all buildings and landscaping as well as a new pool, 3 new Jacuzzis, a new work out facility, massage and steam room, and an on-site Ski Concierge where guests can rent/store/tune their skis right on the property. Other Highlights: bathroom for every bedroom, grocery and liquor shopping, free laundry facilities, newspaper delivery, and complimentary Aspen Airport and Snowmass Village shuttle service.
We stayed at Crestwood for three weeks in Winter. We are frequent visitors to Snowmass and have stayed at a number of slopeside condos/hotels and Crestwood fell short of expectations both in service and amenity. We had a premium 2 bedroom. The room was of a good size but with that heavy dated furniture popular a decade ago. Most problematic was the noise. You can hear every footstep from apartments above. Lots of stomping around in ski boots plus partying neighbours who played music and smoked marijuana constantly. In addition, the condo we stayed in was near the laundry and whilst it shuts at 10.00pm at night, the almost constant washing and drying with associated vibration of spin cycles was annoying. We complained to staff a couple of times about noise, no interest or follow up. We are not prudes, it was just constant noise. In addition, the parking lot is poorly regulated for vehicle parking most noticeably limited spots available, large SUV's parked in fire lanes and poorly parked so they protrude. Again, staff dismissive of feedback. Other places do it better.

There is no shortage of things to do at the Wildwood itself, read a book in a chaise by the pool, warm up in European-inspired hot tubs or visit the Fitness Center for a quick workout. Walk to the slopes and hiking trails, or enjoy the many shopping, dining and entertainment options at Snowmass Village Mall. Relax fireside in the lobby or The Bar, featuring Colorado's New Belgium Brewery or Enjoy Double Black Noodle Bar, where you'll experience incredible Pho and Poke after a day of exploration. With a variety of fresh herbs and vegetables, our chefs have created imaginative dishes with tastes and flavors.
The exterior of the hotel is old and not well maintained. The room was visibly remodelled with a fun and modern look. In general the room was clean and nice, however the bed was obviously smaller, the room is advertised as a queen bed but instead it was a full size mattress on a queen size frame. The shower is too low, and the room temperature was too hot and it didn’t have a fan or anything to make the temperature nicer. It feels that you’re staying in a youth hostel instead of a hotel.

Wonderful experience. Old charm. Great location that was close to Ski lifts, People mover Tram, Restaurants and Village Mall. The staff (Hoyte et al) were fantastic. This was a great hotel without all the luxury of the Limelight hotel just a little ways away. Lots of restaurants close by including a hidden gem called Little Mammoth Steak House and Il Poggio Italian. Ski in-ski out was so easy. The complimentary breakfast was simple but very good.

Guests receive onsite Guest Services, complimentary Aspen Airport shuttles, in-town shuttles, and heated parking. Book early because these residences are in high demand.
We love Hayden Lodge. It is a luxury family-friendly lodge situated directly above the Snowmass ski school and central to absolutely everything (gondolas, restaurants, apres). Hayden is our "go to" spot year after year. This year we rented Unit 2302; a very pricey 3-bedroom unit with great views. Too bad it was so disappointingly filthy. There was hair in the drains, hair in the kitchen cabinets (colander, measuring bowls, etc.), hair in the "clean" beds, hair in the w/d; 3" black hairs were everywhere. Yuk, yuk, and yuk. I also cleaned someone else's splattered make up off the wall in the master bath. Ironically they charge several thousand $$ for a "cleaning fee" as part of the rental agreement. Suffice it to say we left the place far cleaner than when we found it, but what a shame. Going forward we will go back to the other unit we rented in Hayden. PS - the owners were not willing to provide any break on the "cleaning fee" despite these circumstances of which they were notified right away.
