Stopped here on a trip around Northern Arizona. Breakfast was very good, but there was a guy in the next booth talking about all the traffic tickets he had received in his lifetime...he must be on a most wanted list somewhere. I almost turned around and said "Cheeze it, the cops." Would recommend if in Taylor. Parking is weird, so be careful.

Eva's Mexican kitchen is one-of-a-kind since Eva wears her Christian evangelical message on her body (today's tee-shirt read, "Jesus is the reason for my life") and on the walls of her cafe. She is personable and loves to chat with guests, personalizing dishes to individual taste.
Do try her poblano relleno--a large, mild chili stuffed with pulled chicken, dipped and deep-fried, and presented drenched in red chili and cream cheese sauces. The cute twist on that presentation I will keep to myself so others may be amused as Hubby and I both were.

This is a place that now resides in the former school (academy) that ended its run in 1934 and has been renovated by the present business. There is plenty of parking and when we first visited this business last year we had High Tea and reservations are needed for that. This year we decided we would just have a meal. The place is always busy and they are open from 10-3. The place has a beautiful counter near the front where ice cream and specialties of Italian cream sodas are mixed. We took a table and I decided I wanted a half sandwich and soup (however, my choice for the soup was disappointing. I ordered the Coconut Thai soup that was a bit cold and was not any resemblance to a Thai dish.-We lived in Thailand for 5 years and it was not a Thai concoction.) The sandwich was delicious and we decided that we would get a whole one so my wife and me could share. The two young ladies were very busy trying to wait on every table and they did a very nice job, always smiling. When it came time to pay the bill we was offered to have our soup taken off the bill, then we found that we had been charged for an item we never ordered nor received. I understand that mistakes do happen and I would suspect it was that the two wait staff was just so busy trying to help everyone that mistakes were made. I really was hoping that this would have been a happy meal but, alas, it was not to be. Perhaps next year it will be better if they have at least one more wait staff to handle the large amount of people attending in just a 5 hour span that it is open.

Yummiest burritos EVER. My favorite is the Big Jake. I don't usually eat in the restaurant myself (the gas station isn't the most relaxing or inviting atmosphere), but the food can't be beat. The servers are usually very friendly and I enjoy my experience every time I go!

I have visited Subways all over many states and almost wrote them all off because they were filthy with cockroaches everywhere. But the one in Taylor is clean, well managed and have very friendly staff. I will be back to this one!

I pop in here now and then to get the new bacon wrapped pizza. Every time I come in the special is just coming off the oven in the back (not sitting in the warmer) It seems that this shop has figured out the right mix for the demand.

We live locally and so each here fairly regularly. Although they do dinner some evenings we've never come for dinner.
Breakfast and Lunch are the main reasons we go there and they are always very good, standard American fare. You'll find nothing exotic or adventurous on the menu here but, what they do have they make satisfyingly well. No one goes away hungry and.no one complains.
Plenty of local return business in this small town area to keep them busy on a daily basis. So glad their available! !

Restaurant/ice cream shop that has a small selection of items to buy.
Had soup and quiche (bacon/cheddar) both were okay but it was served along with an amazing (and unexpected) chocolate peanut butter scone.
My husband had a Turkey wrap that came with homemade cole slaw that he is still raving about and a (bonus) blueberry scone.
The food was okay but the cole slaw and baked goods alone are worth the trip (as well as the sweet server)

As always the taco power bowls were great. Very friendly staff. The building will be torn down soon and rebuilt. It will be a Taco Bell and Pizza Hut combined.

We were traveling, so I couldn't get the fresh meat that they had marinating. Looked great though. My husband had carnita tacos and I had nachos. The meat is truly their specialty. I purchase a to go container of the chicharrones. Those are the bomb!
