The Riverview was recommended by a local. Service and view was perfect. Waitress very gracious and friendly. Food was cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful.
The only complaint I would have is I did not think it was a value. I expect enough food to satisfy for the price I paid. I thought portions could have been a tad bigger.

We're in the process of moving to N. Topsail, and first stopped in to try Sneaky Freaky in January. We come back every shuttle trip we make (like 5 times) for one overriding reason - the Vanilla Cream Pillow is one of the finest pastries to ever cross our lips. Light and delicate flaky phyllo encases a substantially large filling pocket of absolutely delicious vanilla-hinted Chantilly whipped cream filling.....all topped with a dusting of powdered sugar. Simple, uncluttered and heavenly good. One Pillow is large enough for two people to split, or for one person to indulge shamelessly, for about $4. You can see I've posted a lot of reviews, but I give 5 stars out sparingly. This single delicate pastry earns the 5 stars without regard to anything else about Sneaky Freaky. We have tried some of their other (rotating selections) items, and found most to be quite good. The lemon bars are quite nice, and the fruit tarts are also fine pastries. I can take or leave cupcakes in general, but found theirs to be moist and not slathered in cloyingly sweet baker's icing. The brownies were a bit dry and bland, I thought. But I don't care - as long as the Cream Pillows are always in the case (and they are are there every day - the owner says he sells 50 or more daily), I'm always coming in to buy them. Please keep 'em coming, Sneaky Freaky.

We made a run for a few snacks at the Dollar General across the street and the cashier recommended Ricks to us. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. DELICIOUS!! The best I have ever eaten and I have had the opportunity to eat cheesesteaks in Philadelphia. My husband had the sweet potato fries. They came with a cinnamon butter for dipping. He loved it!! Our waitress, Lisa, was wonderful! The manager, Nigel, came by several times to check on us. We ARE coming back for the Wednesday Prime Rib!

Serving Old Fashioned Hand Dipped Hershey Ice Cream In Cups or Cones and Milkshakes Can Be Made In Any Of The 20 Flavors We Carry.
Definitely a cool little spot to take the family on a hot day for some fresh ice cream. They have regular cones, waffle cones, and shakes. They also do a good job on switching up the flavors they offer. Have been three times so far since they have opened and will definitely be spending a lot of money there this summer.

First time for us in this 50's style diner, 50's rock-n-roll music & layout! We were advised to try the fresh ground beef hamburgers. They offer about 4 burgers options each with their own mix of ingredients. The burgers are offered in a smaller or larger size. Price is right at $6.55 for the smaller portion and $7.95 for the larger portion. This price includes a choice of potato & drink. Our total with tax was $16.59! Impressive!
This restaurant also offers a variety of other sandwiches, salads, dinners & a variety of frozen yogurt options. The menu is simple, which actually makes ordering easy. EMELIA was a joy as our waitress. Hope we soon see Hwy 55 restaurants expanded to the Midwest!

I was craving a bagel for breakfast, so my fiance and I stopped in. Right from the start I was confused about what bagels they have since they're not labeled or posted anywhere. I asked if they had cheese bagels, which they do not. The woman taking the orders didn't really seem to care if we were there or not and just seemed to be moving us along. I got the bacon, egg and cheese on a poppyseed bagel, which was pretty good. The prices were fair. My advice to this business would be to label your bagels, or at least offer to say what you have available. Also, greeting with a smile and not just rushing customers through would go a long way.

Great wings and sandwiches! Salads need improvement: often greens are served in a pool of water and sometimes are not the freshest. The dressings here are WONDERFUL!

I’m not sure what happened, but the burger quality and quantity went dramatically downhill. Fat Burger used to be the best in the area (circa 2015), but it’s just not the same. Smaller burgers, burnt fries. Just not as good. I hope they go back to the previous model.

Choripollo is my go to at a Mexican restaurant and they set the bar. The service is great and the beer is always cold. The salsa is good and the chips are warm. My wife tried taquitos mexicano and wasn’t disappointed. Priced right

We enjoyed eating outside! The mozzarella sticks were tasty and complimentary (chef had made too many). My side salad was very fresh. Ranch dressing was awesome!. Pizza was thin and crispy and not tough. Crust was a little dark for my tastes but that may be the signature crust. Friend ordered gyro and fries and she enjoyed it. They were very accommodating to our orders and service was excellent!
