Came here after dinner and had a lovely selection of desserts! First....probably the best cappuccino I have EVER had. Tremendous. We had a slice of the coconut cake and the butterscotch crumble cake that was so outstanding I wanted to take several home. Really great. I highly recommend coming here!!!!

Luigi's Gourmet Express & Restaurant has been a Johnston, RI institution since 1971. We offer delicious Italian cuisine from our treasured family recipes passed down through generations. All of our breads and desserts are baked on premise. House specialties include the Veal & Chicken Parmigiana as well as many beef, pork, seafood and, of course, pasta entrees. We recently added Brick Oven Pizza and Gourmet Burgers to our menu. There is truly something that anyone can enjoy on our menu! We have a great wine list as well as many craft beers on draft. Our Gourmet Express offers a great variety of prepared foods, soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza and much more for café dining or take out. Our catering and banquet division can handle any of your entertaining needs either on premise or at an off site location. The Battista Family thanks you for showing an interest in Luigi's and invites you to "Come to Luigi's, where our family will treat your family like... family!"
Locals love this place. Both a full scale restaurant and a eat in/takeout establishment offering everything Italian. Fair prices, generally good staff, generally fast service. Offering cafe style seating on the casual half or restaurant style seating on the upscale half. You can take home or eat in hot meals on the cafe side. You can call ahead for easy pick-up and an online menu is available. Also, they offer deli style food choices with items like eggplant, chicken parm, pasta salad ect....

My partner and I pulled into the plaza to check directions and Such A Bagel immediately caught our eye. We cannot pass up bagels. Very nice selection. I will say the sandwich descriptions had great catchy names but the font and color used on the board for the descriptions was extremely hard to read. We felt like we had to squint in order to decide. We later saw menus so I guess that would have solved that problem. Our server was nice. I loved their selection of coffees. My partner wanted to be boring and go with an iced pecan. If you were a bit more adventurous they had some great selections on their list. We ended up getting a mixed berry bagel with butter and one of their sandwiches that had warm roast beef. We asked for it without the horseradish spread and it was pretty bland. It could have used a kick. Nice price for all that food and we were able to sit at a table and enjoy the atmosphere. If we're ever in the area again, we'd go back.

The concept & experience at Trattoria Romana were designed to offer a comfortable dining experience with moderate prices, similar to Chef Luciano Canova's favorite Trattorias in Italy. Combining old-world Italian preparations with gracious service from our attentive staff has allowed Trattoria Romana in Lincoln to create a truly unique dining experience that keeps bringing customers back. We offer Italian food cooked with only the finest & freshest local ingredients in a lively setting surrounded by beautiful decor & murals designed to transport our guests to Italy.
We met some clients here for dinner and were not disappointed. Several dining rooms and the noise level was conversation friendly. I started with a special appetizer -- mushrooms stuffed with seafood. It came with four, good-sized mushroom caps. Very tasty. My entree choice was the vitello boconcinni -- veal medallions stuffed with mozarella cheese and proscuitto, with mushrooms. I love all of these ingredients and was not disappointed. The portions are not small. Service was friendly and just attentive enough.

Our waitress, the Peruvian Camille, advised us to try their special version that night of their Causa Limena which added crab and other unusual things. This was the first plate that was even better than their Cervice Classico. We shared the entree sized Cerviche with a Churasco al Gaucho. For wine, Ali advised us to try their Chilean Calypra Chardonnay..which was a spectacular match for our meal. We had coffee and our tres leches for dessert. Thanks to Diego Curi for seating us, Andrea Curi for her gracious welcome, and my apology to Stephanie for allowing me to switch tables so I could practice my Dominican Spanish. We are eating all of our leftovers for a home dinner tonight.

This place is handy for us, however, I have become disenchanted with some of the quality! I think the first thing that started me thinking that, was was when I noticed that the Bread for Sandwiches seemed less appetizing, too dry and tasteless!
I love a nice Italian Cold Cut Sandwich, but if the Bread doesn't taste good to you, it's not an option!

What a great find in an unassuming neighborhood space!!! Posillipo has great food and a great staff. We sampled the cold antipasto and three of the Saturday night specials-Salmone dello Chef, capellini Golfo and the Rack of Lamb and all were wonderful! There are very reasonably priced wines and just a great vibe surrounding the excellent food. From the love story of the owners to the love story of the food, you too will fall in love with Posillipo and just for fun, you'll think you went back in time!

Opened in 1993, our restaurant is located in Greenville, RI at the Apple Valley Mall Plaza. A favorite among our youngest of customers, this location boasts the most popular Kid's Night every Monday from 5 PM to 8 PM...And for the adults (who still may be kids at heart), our expansive bar area, and comfy booths. Come in and experience our newest additions to our food menu, daily specials, and beverage specials. Bring the family on Mondays for Kids Night from 5-8pm!
We been dining at Chelo's for more than 40 years and have never been disappointed! Tonight was no exception, but this location has been recently renovated and the booth seating was extremely uncomfortable!!! I had to sit sideways so I could eat!!! Subsequently, my leg went numb! Even though the food was great, it was one of my worst dining experiences!!!! Poor design!!!!
Will request a table, not a booth next visit.
