We booked a room for only one night. We were imediately informed that there was only a room left which was quite old and should be renovated soon. The room was still ok, no luxury but very clean. The price for two people was only 80€, breakfast included. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is right in the center of Sluis. By car you can reach the sea in only 10 minutes.

Brand new hotel in the middle of the touristic centre of Sluis with a great view on the water of the canal.
The owner was very unpleasant and rude. The corona virus confinement was a tough time (for all of us), no need to take it out on your customers. As a result, never again. The price for the hotel is too much for what you get and in comparison with other hotels. It was not very clean and very busy on the terrace till late, a lot of noise. Please do not go there if you want a pleasant time in Sluis, I won't.

Situated only 450 meters from the historic center of Sluis lies Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant de Dikke van Dale. This hotel offers rooms in a restored 19th-century former monastery. The rooms at Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant de Dikke van Dale are spacious and feature a TV. Some rooms include a luxurious bathroom with a large rain shower. The Johan Hendrik restaurant serves seasonal French cuisine with a modern influence in a dining room featuring Louis XIV style decor. Guests can also enjoy drinks on the patio or in the elegant library with an open fireplace. Some of the leisure activities available nearby include cycling and hiking. Belfort Sluis is less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The centre of Brugge, featuring the Grote Markt and the Groeningemuseum, is a 25-minute drive away.
We booked a two night stay in June 2021. Our reservation was for the "De Luxe" room!! What a disapointment. On arival we were met by VERY helpful staff. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, booking was not a problem. We went to the room on the first floor. Outside was the temperature around the 25c inside the room it was around 30c, no airco! only a little fan!? If this was the De Lux room I do n ot want to see the Standard rooms!! Breakfast was a joke, yes the buffet did look good but........... The scrambled egg and bacon was cold. After mentioning this to the staff I was greated with the reply "we cannot do anything about it". Thanks. The second day was the situation in the room and at breakfast not much better. Absolutely disapointing there are no other words.

I definitely recommend this hotel! At breakfast there were many options, comfy beds, no noise, nice hosts, good service, the room itself was good too. The garden was nice even though the weather wasnt very good that day. Overall the coziest and nicest hotel we've been too. ?

Wij hadden 1 van de 4 luxe appartementen geboekt. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst.
