Koper (Slovene pronunciation: [ˈkoːpəɾ] ( listen)) (Italian: Capodistria) is a city in southwestern Slovenia, with the other Slovenian coastal towns Ankaran, Izola, Piran, and Portorož, situated along the country's 47-kilometre (29-mile) coastline, in the Istrian Region, approximately five kilometres (3.1 miles) from its border with Italy. Having a unique ecology and biodiversity, it is considered an important national natural resource. The city's Port of Koper is the major contributor to the economy of the eponymous city municipality. With only one percent of Slovenia having a coastline, the influence that the Port of Koper also has on tourism was a factor in Ankaran deciding to leave the municipality in a referendum in 2011 to establish its own. The city is a destination on a number of Mediterranean cruising lines. In 2016, the city expects 65 cruise ship arrivals (for example: Norwegian Spirit, MSC Magnifica, Norwegian Jade, MS Rhapsody of the Seas...) with the season spanning from March to December. Koper is the main urban centre of the Slovenian Istria, with a population of about 25,000.

We went there for Saturday lunch. Even though it was packed, service was quick. Waiters not very welcoming. But the first worst part came with the food. Calamari were disaster. If I would not be so hungry, I wouldnât eat them at all. Due to circumstances I ate half of the plate.The second worst part was the bill. Prices are really high for such low low quality of food (fried calamari 9,5 eur).I will never visit this restaurant again.

New in beutiful Trieste..cery spacious beutiful and modern ambience for centre if the city.Varied menu. We really loved modern take on tastiest pizza in Trieste. The pizza base as thin as a paper but extremely tasty, light and digestable.Make sure you have some space for special desserts.. cheese cake was heavenly!

What can I say, awesome atmosphere, delicious food,...at very low prices. Have been here on numerous occasions and enjoy it every time, cheerful staff always polite and helpful.You can order pizza or grilled food. Definitely a place to revisit!

Very very nice staff and great food and atmosphere. They have a soup called (forgive the spelling) trehana. Prounounced "tray-Hannah." Try it! This place is worth a visit, a great meal, a few cold beers, and some very nice people.

Was told it was the best pizza place in town. We ordered 2 different ones so's we could swap and share, what a disappointment , undercooked base and poor topping. Would not go there again and would not recommend.

This is not an ordinary pizzeria/restaurant. The pizzeria is opened just on certain days and to eat there the reservation is a must. The reservations can be done through FB or SMS. Also the working days and available pizzas for each week is published on the FB page.But when you visit the pizzeria you start to understand the approach. Pizzas are fabulous. It is hard to pick the best one - my recommendation is to buy one piece of each pizza and then you can taste all of them.Andrea and Riccardo, who run the pizzeria, are true perfectionists and therefore want to offer their guests only the best. The pizzas on the menu are made from the finest ingredients.The dough (pasta) is the one I have eaten only in the best Neapolitan pizzerias, maybe even better.Here are some examples of ingredients which Andrea and Riccardo are using on pizzas: cherry vinaigrette, smoked swordfish, buratta, figs, lard (lardo), etc.

Service is fast, atmosphere is nice. Food is good for what you pay so the quality/price ratio is excellent. Food is not the best or extraordinary you ever had but portions are big and tasty. Definitely a good place if you do not want to spend a lot but definitely leave with a full belly. On the menu' you can find a bit of everything: pizza, pasta, rice, soups, meat, fish, eggs, salad, desserts. In this place we love having the typical dessert from the balkans: "palaÄinke".
