It is less than 5 km from the Italian town of Muggia near Trieste, about 2.5 km from the Italian-Slovenian border, 6.5 km from Koper, and 33 km from the nearest Croatian town, Buje. In the entire municipality both Slovenian and Italian are official languages.

I have write a report two or even more years before. By accident I have returned. It was not been my choice and I was almost a little angry about it. However I have take the whole launch here again. Just ... at my surprise a lot has changed. A lot! The food is much much better. Whatever i have tried it was perfect. Also the staff was been far more better then before. The price of the meal has rise but I can survive if the other thing is that much better. Congrats to the owner. The moral of the story for me is that: give another chance to person maybe you can be surprised!

This was a wonderful evening, a great ambience, superb cuis8ne, a mini filet mignon with foie gras to start, flambeed before your eyes, and the wine list is also great..recommend the cheese fused tagliata with bread rumbs, and donât miss their chantilly desserts. Highly recommended. Wonderful service too.

We stopped here to have a meal, they only do grilled food which was superb. The wine was on tap which was locally made. It's run by a family who were very friendly.

We came here in a lunch time and there were only a few people inside. Owner of the pizzeria was very friendly and invited us to come inside, due to hot sunny day. We ordered 2 big pizzas, one escalope and 2 salads. Cooking time was short (15-20min) and food was very tasty. Service was good and staff, despite being young, are very friendly and skillful, especially one beautiful bespectacled girl, who made her job just awesome...

Amazing location, by the Adriatic sea. You can feel that you are in the castle, enjoy great food and beautiful scenery. They have a huge yard with a lot of staff for children to discover â so you can have even some moments of piece for yourself ï My son, which is not eating practically anything, admires there so much huge shrimps (na zaru- 14 euros). Came starving with my family at 9pm and set at the free table with NO "Reserved" tab. Thou, the restaurant is in Slovenia, the staff deliberately refuses to speak neither Slovenian or English. Only Italian is welcome. Our numerous attempts to have waiter's attention or menu have been mirrored by only contemptuous looks of waitress and ignorant behavior of the boss. 25 minutes later, we realized that we're NOT WELCOME there and left the place accompanied by sarcastic smile of the boss (owner or manager). Please, avoid this place if you don't want to be disgraced.

Piacevole cena di fine agosto nella terrazza verandata. Tartara con crostini e lardo pata negra con pecorino come antipasto. Il famoso spiedone di carne e salsa al curry con verdure per quattro. Carne di maiale ottimamente cucinata allo spiedo e carne di marzo con cottura media di ottima qualità . Attesa 50 minuti. Ho letto che alcuni commensali si sono lamentati per la lunga attesa. Ma per cucinare la carne in quel modo impeccabile senza che sia precotta i tempi non possono essere che quelli. Servizio professionale e gentile. Ambiente accogliente. Prezzo giusto. Consigliatissimo.

We had a family lunch here in January 2019 and to be honest it was great. We waited a little bit longer than I expected but when the appetizers arrived the things were improved. All the food was very good, the meat was cooked perfectly and the price was very low.
