Vegan food has never tasted better! The best dishes from Slovak and international cuisine. Our cozy bistro is based in the heart of the town of Martin. We offer daily menu and also a la carte selection of street food (the best burger in town) and veganize
Absolutely amazing. That is how you can describe this bistro located in Martin. Plantaz is the only far&near place where you can find pure vegan options for various foods. My personal recommendation is burger with fries and mayo. Made with all-vegan ingredients, it was very fresh and tasty. If you have a sweet tooth, you would definitely enjoy different cakes served here. Staff at the bistro was very friendly, chefs are even happy to reveal their great recipes. 5 Stars.
Although we didn’t expect much, we were a little disappointed. Tom yum was spicy but that was it. Too much water, no proper ingredients, just 3 small prawns. Tuna tartare was mixed with some sauce for no obvious reason, you really couln’t feel the taste of tuna. Maki with tuna and avocado were just a lot of rice and a small piece of tuna. Nothing to remember. Kimchi was not sour enough, though spicy. The best one was wakame salad, but it was not enough to give this place 4 stars. I would gladly pay more for a better sushi.

We would like to take you into the days when food came right from nature and the most important sign was its freshness. As a result, ingredients had the highest quality flavor and they were also the source of all important vitamins and nutrients necessary
I went with my wife to the Human for dinner. The Human is part of a new development with restaurant, beach bar, beach volleyball, children's playground and a fitness studio with a paintball ground attached. All new, nice and modern. There is enough sitting outside and inside and even if the restaurant is more on the posh side it has quite a relaxed, casual vibe. The food we had was very good (octopus as a starter, lamb and salad as mains) and the portions were definitely big enough (though not "Slovak pub food massive" big). Nothing to complain there. What let them definitely down were the drinks and service. My wife ordered a Mojito which was massive in size, but totally watered down (not sure if they deliberately tried to safe on expensive spirits or because they added a stupid amount of crushed ice and let it melt). We complained, my wife ordered a new, different drink and even returned the full Mojito glass, but there was simply no appropriate reaction to that. No apologies, no offer to give the new drink for free, no tasting and make up their minds themselves, nothing - and we had to pay both. Generally the service was not bad or unfriendly, but they seemed a bit unorganized. I ordered some beers and in between the orders and getting the beers I saw the waiters a few times passing me empty handed (can't say if it was the waiters fault or if they had an issue at the bar to get the drinks ready - in my case that meant opening a bottle). I wouldn't argue the high prices with good drinks and service as the food was really nice, but if one is charging premium prices one can expect premium food AND premium drinks and service. This all can happen once, but it shouldn't a second time.

Great coffee, cakes and salads.
This is a coffee place at the square just outside of the train stations and bus stop, easy to find. I recommend the double espresso and choosing any cake you like from the selection - I had the almond one and really liked it.Dear Ewuchka, thank you for your kind words. We are happy you enjoyed our coffe and cakes. We are looking forward to see you again ☺Anna Vrbičanová

Its light, clean and nice with great service. And not to forget, a lot for less money. If we had a place like this at home, I would eat there often!
