From the welcome on arrival and atmosphere to the faultless food and beautiful view on High Tatras. Staff is very friendly and helpful, speak several languages including German and Polish.If you want to relax and enjoy good food after trip to the Bachledka, this restaurant is the right one! The view is incredible and food matches it. You can get several dishes from pizza, burger, pasta, salads to the very tasty local food. There is also good choice of beer, wine, cocktails and delicious cakes (strudel, pancakes, homemade cakes, ice cream...)Fair prices and quick service.We will definitely come back. Highly recommend :)

Good Value, home cooked meaty foods. The staff seem to really care, the restraunt is simple but pleasant and the food is delicious. The steaks were good quality and well cooked but it was the ribs that particularly impressed. The ribs had a delicious bbq rub which is uncommon in central Europe. To top it off they sell Bernard beer which is (in my opinion) the best large brewery in central Europe.

Went there accidentally, just passing by, and were satisfyied. We has a salmon and tiger prawns on vine sauce, both well prepared, tasted really good. We ordered also the chilli sauce, which contained a bit more oil than expected. In general the service was excellent as well as the location, especially outdoors garden.

The restaurant is situated above the supermarket at one end of Stary Smokovec. We visited 3 times during our week-long stay and were always impressed with the quality of food on offer. The restaurant itself is very functional and lacks atmosphere but we found the staff to be friendly enough, the service quick and efficient and the food was all very tasty and nicely presented; I highly recommend the tuna salad.

Had lunch here after we being turned away at the pretentious Kempinski Hotel ! The lake and mountain views are terrific and the food is pretty good. Being right on the lake probably influences the prices, but it is well worth a visit. I visit often for pasta or pizza. You can easily build some pizza of your own taste there. They serve their own pasta and offer couple of burgers also. The menu is not large, yet the food is always tasty. You can pick some good house wine with it and two or three types of beer.
