Slovakia lacks the glitz of its former compatriot, the Czech Republic, but since its independence in 1993, the country's been shedding its Eastern Bloc past and embracing its own folk culture. The capital of Bratislava is a popular destination but don't bypass the old-world essence of places such as the Spis castle overlooking Spisske Podhradie; Liptovska Sielnica, with its preserved historical homes; and the spas of Piestany. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy hiking and skiing the High Tatras.

Cosy small family-campsite-on-the-farm, situated in one of the most beautifull valleys of Slovakia. Stunning view, quiet surroundings. The friendly owners are always there for you. All year accommodation possibilities: 2/6 persons rural Slovak holiday home/apartment, 70m2, and farmroom/B&B for 1/4 persons. Both heated by wood, furnished in cosy Slovak country style. Campsite open from 15-4 till 31-10. Old fruityard, hammock, trampolines, swimmingpond, campfire, possibility to help on the farm. Mountainbike/hikingtrails directly from campsite. In summer for rent on campsite: kompletely equiped tent and caravan. Ideal for a winter holiday too. 6 skiresorts in 15-50 minutes drive. Roads are kept clean very well, restaurants, ski-tickets and ski-school rates still very friendly.
We had a wonderful weekend retreat at Sedliacky dvor, where every single detail made us feel relaxed and welcome. The apartment we stayed in was perfectly clean and had a nice country feel. We loved all the simple but effective gadgets the owners thoughtfully preserved from the original house, but also made use of modern amenities that have been added (the free WIFI works really well). There was no need to use the TV or DVDs, as the weather was picture-perfect and we could spend most of the day outdoors.

Liptovska mara offers a lot of various water activities. The camping itself provides everything to cover your basic needs on a campsite. We had out own tent, and the price for a night was very good. The toilets and showers were nice and clean. There are still a lot of things that need to be renewed but looks like it's in progress.

Camping & Caravan site Lazy is a little paradise in sunny southern Slovakia. With it's 15 XXL pitches, clean toilets and showers, open fires allowed and surrounded by endless forests and meadows it is Slovakia's greatest smallest campsite. A wonderful place for nature lovers.'Lazy' belongs to a small farm with dairy goats, sheep and vegetables. The friendly owners speak English, French, German and Dutch.
The most relaxed, beautiful and friendly campsite you can imagine. I would barely call it a campsite - it is more an invitation to Arnold and Bernadette’s farmstead in the middle of stunningly quiet Slovakian countryside. There are little touches everywhere. Stools for toddlers in the washrooms. Honesty bar. Homemade cheese. Paths cut through the meadow. Individual fire pits (and a forest to collect wood). Then there are the riding lessons. The very natural recycling (feeding food to Trudy the pig). Free veg picked from the garden. This is a destination in itself (as all the Dutch attested to). I wish we had stayed a week and not just a night.

Even if you went to the ends of the Earth you’d be hard pressed to find a more beautiful place. Our area has sprouted up in a beautiful forest environment near the Pocuvadlo reservoir under the Stiavnica Mountains. Our spacious cabins are designed to deliver the best possible experience to pairs, foursomes and cheerful groups of six.
If you like camping but for once you long for a place that is waiting for you prepared to fullfil all your dreams, this is the right place to go. Spacy heated/air-conditioned cabins/tents are built for you, equipped with a kitchen and bathroom. Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, perfect hiking places ....

Veškerý personál Byt vstřícný a milý. Mohu vřele doporučit! Really great camp not far from Štrbské pleso. Our rented chalet was simple equipped but clean and functional. Common kitchen, restrooms and showers was clean and all necessary things was continuously refilled. Restaurant Humno is located close to reception and serve local specialities, good beer and Tatratea. Staff was nice and helpful. My full recommendation!

CAMPING PARK KARPATY is an extraordinary and amazing campsite!!!! Almost like a time-machine that brings you back to when people of he world, had much more time for caring, sharing and relaxing <3 The vibe here is calm, quiet, cozy and comforting...could easily have a yoga-retreat here. But also a nice party at the common fireplace with drinks, singing and dancing. You can dine in the restaurant/pub having a local beer and during daytime you can rent standup-paddles, canoes, badminton, frisbeegolf and enjoy a day by the nearby Lake (think it is a reservoir)..... The area of the Carpathian Mountains is beautiful and we had a mindful week there...2 adults, 3 teenagers and a youngster. Dreaming of coming back :)

To sme vyriešili v najbližšej kolibe spolu s obedom. Kamping asi nepotrebuje peniaze, keď odháňa zákaznikov.
