Modern restaurant concept on central location of Helsingborg that serves thin, crust italian-style pizzas, healthy salads and speciality coffee based on locally sourced ingredients from organic farms.
What I loved most with Brutale, except for serving an amazing veggie lasagna and sporting a modern design with wood and green plants, is summed up on one of their windows... "Lokal Matkärlek". Passion for locally sourced ingredients that are unrefined or processed. Great core values. This is what I want to know when sitting down to enjoy a meal. I hope to revisit to try one of their bowls on my next visit to Helsingborg. A quirky thing is that the door to the restroom is hidden in the wall paper... :D

The food is amazing! Truly! Delicious, flavorful, unique. Back when they had the âmenuâ offers, also a super great deal!Have been two times, with strange/poor service each time. First time, service was incredibly slow, and at time to pay, I was told it was not possible to split the check. We were told âitâs not possible, one of you should swish the otherâ - and when my friend is from Denmark and does not have swish, the woman just said âI canât split it.âSecond time, I ordered at 120 sek Hugo (6cl) and it was definitely not a Hugo - no taste of prosecco and served more like a mojito, in a big glass with loads of ice. I detected almost no alcohol, usually that is enough to get me a bit tipsy. When I asked for a glass of water, I was told (by same woman as first time) they had no kranvatten and I needed to buy an individual plastic bottle of water. Not at all in tune with their environmental messaging, and surely not usual in Sweden. And she was simply passive aggressive, like my presence or questions were inconvenient. The food was still great, but the surly service is so offputting it is hard to enjoy the meal. However, this time we were able to split the check! :-) (One woman working this time was super!!)I want new business in the center of town to thrive - but it will take me a long time to get back after this.
