Reviewed By pphherrmann1The Ibis hotel in Sint-Niklaas fullfiled my expectations. The check-in was fast and friendly. The room for one person big enough and everything was clean. The walls were a bit thin. You could hear almost everything from the other rooms. At night it was completely quiet so it was no big problem. But earplugs are recommended. The breakfast was ok. Fresh orange juice was the highlight there.

Generally quite nice, with a couple of caveats (I would have given 3.5 if possible)...
Reviewed By Charlie HA small hotel, conveniently located a short distance from both the train station and the city center. The room was clean and comfortable, if a little small. The bathroom was spotless and had a walk-in shower with good water pressure. I would have given it a little bit higher rating if there had been an actual reception desk. Instead, they send a code via e-mail to enter the building using a keypad by the entrance; my room key was in an envelope on a desk in the foyer. As it happened, the code they sent had an extra digit, necessitating a phone call to a number posted on the front door. In other words, make sure you have access to your e-mail and mobile service (which can be an issue if traveling from abroad). Additionally, the room was up a flight of stairs. If you have mobility issues, keep that in mind.

Reviewed By Brenda lGood value for money if on a tight budget.. However need updating ie: carpets, new mattresses on beds as really uncomfortable X Bit of a hiicup regarding prebooked breakfasts . Claimed refund once home . could do with tea/coffee making facilities in the room .
