Weâve been coming here for several years and I was motivated to write my second review of this restaurant because it just keeps getting better every year. The menu is expanded from when we first started coming here. The food is just as delicious as ever. Service, however, was extremely slow. Still have it 5 stars because it was so delicious.

A seaside Mexican restaurant with Mexican traditional food. La Patrona Restaurant will delight your palate with the authentic flavors of this cuisine, which is one of the most extensive culinary exhibitions in the world.
We went there on a Monday night and found they have a lobster special on Monday and Friday nights. Lobster was a nice size for $19.99 plus it came with veggies and potato. The Staff was amazing and very helpful.

Open again 5 months after Hurricane Irma - in our 16th season, serving up some yummy homemade Carib/Mex cuisine and great drinks. Open-air dining - restaurant surrounds a fresh-water swimming pool featuring two water-falls and beautifully lit palm trees.
Jimbo's has been around a long time and has always had a good reputation. When we lived on St. Maarten we never made it in so when we came back to visit we had to give it a try.We came over around 5:30 in the afternoon, thought we would have some drinks, appetizers and a fine meal before calling it a day. When we arrived there was a couple of tables with people but no employees to be seen. We continued to look around and found a man working behind the bar who told us to sit anywhere.A short while later he came to our table with menus and took our drink order. I commented on the lack of staff and he said it was early yet and more people would be in later. My wife had a Corona and I picked the Bloody Maria which was okay. We ordered the Shrimp Poppers. When they came we were surprised to find that the tails of the shrimp had not been removed so it was take a bite, find the tail and spit it onto the plate and then finish chewing that bite. That was very disappointing. We both had the grouper and it was heavily spiced, not tasty heavy or spicy heavy, just heavy. The cole slaw was strange, the cornbread was the highlight and we quickly called it a night. You only get one first impression and honestly I wouldn't eat there again.
