If you told me we'd go to a toast restaurant in Singapore i would have laughed. If you suggested there would be a line out the door i would have screamed! But yes we did go "toast" based on a children's "vote" and unbelievably lined up for the privilege. And yes you get toast in a messy table setting. It's sugary fat white toast with choices to go with it. There are more substantial dishes like muffins. The coffee is awful and the tea marginally better but the kids vote in favour of the flavoured milk. They have never rejected sweetened milk! So in a land of great food most people in here seem satisfied but i think we wasted a breakfast!

A REFUGE FOR SOCIAL GATHERING PS.Cafe opened in 1999 as a cosy cafe hidden within Projectshop clothing store. This charming and understated spot quickly gained a following for its hearty takes on savoury cafe classics, famous truffle shoestring fries and
The dinner was amazing as always and I love the decor, jazz music and the atmosphere. Elyn, our server, was really good at her recommendations especially the ginger pudding (which was amazing!) for dessert. Loved it! I would always recommend this place for its ambience and also, their food. Their specials are always worth it.

I came here two weekends in a row to have lunch, as l really loved the first visit. They have a small variety of pasta/ salads sweets, etc. I have tried the Salmon Linguine and the Australian Beef Lasagne. Each was at about 14 S$ and both absolutely delicious. And I had the (hot) chocolate cake (Lava Cake), which they have in 2 different sizes. It was fantastic! They even sell fresh bread, which looks really good.

Been here a few times on weekend and first time on a weekday. This place is much relaxing on weekday since lesser crowds. Although in a residential area, the patrons were mostly foreigners vs locals. Music could be soften. Nice and welcome service crews. Merci for the lovely feedback, OLCmong. Glad to hear you've had a nice experience at MERCI MARCEL Tiong Bahru. Marcel loves hearing from our guests and we appreciate your feedback. à bientôt!

Privé Café's laidback atmosphere and simple yet wholesome café fare has cemented its position as one of the best places in Singapore to enjoy a casual meal or to grab brunch by the water's edge. Popular dishes at the Café include the award-winning Eggs Be
Our family selected Prive to celebrate Grandma's birthday. This was the third time the family went over the last 3 months. The restaurant has a casual ambience with a small air condition section and a larger outdoor seating area with a good view of a marina on the only private island in Singapore. The outdoor also has a play area for kids, one reason for the family to meet at Prive. The menu is extensive, catering for both locals and expatriates. The family choices included baby ribs, fish and chips, pizza and selections from the kids menu. My choice was the baby ribs. They were sweeter than what l preffered and a bit over done.It was a busy Sun night with a good mix of patrons. Despite the large crowd, service was a brisk. You should be warned that there is a service charge if you bring in a cake from outside !

Open 365 days a year, with a menu offered all day long from opening to closing, we are a very cool Family (our team is our family indeed) and cosy cafe / bistro / bar that serves breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner and late dinner. We took over the very firs
When you call your cafe awesome, youâre setting the bar pretty high. At first glance the surroundings donât disappoint, thereâs enough âawesomeâ decorations and curated memorabilia to make you feel like youâre in a hipster-themed Instagram photoshoot. The service is good with the staff attentive, although it was a little crowded at lunch so they were understandably a little busy and sometimes preoccupied with other tables. The âawesome saladâ was not as awesome as I expected however, as it felt like a little bit of everything had be thrown together rather than finding the most awesome combination of ingredients. As the chicken breast, salmon and prosciutto ham, although large in portion were a little too contrasting in flavours to go with the half avocado the salad was topped with. Anyway the lunch was enjoyable overall and thereâs enough trinkets and decorations around you to keep you occupied throughout.
