A cosy eatery in hip Chinatown with excellent food and a very reasonably priced lunch menu.Highly recommend the organic hen egg with winter black truffle and the Iberico black pig. The Angus beef tenderloin was remarkably tender and tasty.A 3-course lunch is priced at S$42 and a 5-course meal at S$68. There portions are fairly generous so we found the 3-course meal very satisfying.Service was attentive and helpful.

Taking inspiration from Executive Chef Vianney Massot's rich culinary experiences, the restaurant is an expression of the chef's creativity and know-how, presented as though dining within the comforts of Vianneys own abode. Upon entering the elegant 20-se
I rarely write reviews but some experiences are so amazing that to not leave a review would be an absolute travesty! Dining at Vianney Massot restaurant is one of those experiences.Service:Everything was perfect from the start to the end. The hostess and team greeted us warmly upon entering, everyone was very professional during the actual service of our meal and responded promptly to any requests that we made. Everyone was always smiling and had such a great attitude.Ambience:We were seated at a table further inside the restaurant. The space itself was an elegant dining room with a black and gold theme running through. The tables were spaced out enough for diners to have some privacy without being completely shut away from everything.Food:Now for the food, which really was equal parts cuisine as it was art. Special mention to the bread trolley. That was a sight to behold. It was a triple tiered selection of fresh and warm breads. This was served with an unsalted butter curl prepared on the spot with some Fleur de sel on the side. This is so that diners can have the option of both salted and unsalted butter. I thought this was a very thoughtful gesture. After which we had a delightful little champagne starter. It was this small but beautiful creation and was simply an explosion of flavours in the mouth. You could taste every element. Exquisite! The amuse-bouche had a foie gras base, corn puree dots, edible gold, and white truffle on the top. Iâm not a big fan of foie gras, but this dish was so perfectly balanced, no one ingredient was too overpowering and everything worked so well together! The appetiser with blue lobster was super refreshing and looked like a garden on a plate. You had all kinds of texture in there which blended perfectly together. The plate itself was also very special. Our first main was this absolutely divine pasta with uni, caviar and an egg. The colours, the taste, everything was impeccable. We also had some baby lamb chops which were so tender each one came right off the bone with minimal effort! Of course they were also delicious to a fault! For dessert, I had this absolutely adorable meringue, lemon and honey creation. It was honestly too pretty to eat. Words do not do it justice. It was super refreshing and not too sweet, which I prefer. Not a single crumb was left on the gorgeous plate. We were also served some marvelous chocolate truffles and lemon madeleines with coffee at the end. In conclusion, did each plate look like a work of art? Yes! Did every dish taste as good as it looked? A resounding yes!!! I had high expectations going in and Vianney Massot restaurant had not just met them, but surpassed those expectations by leaps and bounds!! Really really pleased and will definitely be back. Very excited to see how this talented young chef will continue to elevate the Singapore fine dining scene in the future!

Had an amazing 7 course dinner for s$150. Very impressive contemporary food with a slight local twist. Each dish was exquisite. Tasted fantastic and looked amazing. The composition of the dishes and the thought process behind them were all carefully explained. Excellent service from the staff and chef Matthew who came to greet us. Shout out to Donna as well who delivered some of the best service I've ever had in Singapore. Restaurant was also very accommodating in adjusting the menu for our dietary preference (no meat for one diner). Overall was an amazing experience. Perfect for a lovely celebration without busting the budget. Would come again in a heartbeat.

This is haute cuisine indeed, with not only great products such as Hokkaido scallops, duck, beef or lobster, but also and above all, a respect of the products with a dash of a delicate sauce only.Just by the smell of it you know the beef rib was simply divine, before the first bite.Small but good selection of desserts, and of course an original wines list at all prices.Overall service was very good too, from the welcome to the end of the meal; the staff was courteous, efficient and smiling.Definitely a great experience at reasonable prices. The bill can go up quickly with the wines of course.

Open 365 days a year, with a menu offered all day long from opening to closing, we are a very cool Family (our team is our family indeed) and cosy cafe / bistro / bar that serves breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner and late dinner. We took over the very firs
When you call your cafe awesome, youâre setting the bar pretty high. At first glance the surroundings donât disappoint, thereâs enough âawesomeâ decorations and curated memorabilia to make you feel like youâre in a hipster-themed Instagram photoshoot. The service is good with the staff attentive, although it was a little crowded at lunch so they were understandably a little busy and sometimes preoccupied with other tables. The âawesome saladâ was not as awesome as I expected however, as it felt like a little bit of everything had be thrown together rather than finding the most awesome combination of ingredients. As the chicken breast, salmon and prosciutto ham, although large in portion were a little too contrasting in flavours to go with the half avocado the salad was topped with. Anyway the lunch was enjoyable overall and thereâs enough trinkets and decorations around you to keep you occupied throughout.

A small fine French restaurant set up by Paul Longworth, Jerome Desfonds & Au Petit Salut. Contempory approach to French cuisine with very personalised service. A well worked out and affordable wine list to completment the dining experience.
Rhubarb never disappoints. Chef Paul delivers sophisticated, delicious food and Jerome has curated a fabulous wine list - very reasonably priced on both counts. The restaurant is intimate and equally well suited to a business lunch/dinner and special occasions with someone special. The halibut with beetroot, passionfruit and olive oil caviar (3rd photo) is one of the best dishes Iâve had anywhere this year.

Just had dinner in the restaurant. Lovely meal with delicate flavours and not overpowering. I had red snapper ceviche and my partner had grilled haloumi both of which were very good. Followed by chicken with crispy potatoes and mushroom jus. Apple tarte tatin with vanilla ice cream made for a delicious end.Good ambience in the restaurant with friendly and efficient service from Jesna and her fellow servers.Would definitely go back and recommend.Dear Dean , I am so glad that you did enjoy your meal , I will share your review with the entire team , Thank you , Stephane Istel Chef / Owner

My wife and I sat through the 8 course culinary adventure with Chef Stephen.Chef Stephen from Austria is a very friendly chef, he came by our table a few times both to introduce the dishes and ingredients as well as to check on the food quality. The high tables and chairs were not comfortable but that was more than compensated by the high quality of food. From the first course, it was evident Chef Syephen doesnt like any one flavour to overwhelm our taste buds. For eg, foie gras usually leaves a big overwhelming aftertaste but his dish coupled woth citrusy flavours so we didnt felt overwhelmed. The halibut fish was slow cooked to perfection but topped with crunchy bits. The iberico pork cheek was soft amd so....ooo good. Even the strawberry sorbet ice cream (normally would make adults cringe at the sourness) was nicely encased in a white choc magnum case. So ot was very very well balanced. We are true food conneiseurs and hv been blessed to hv always eaten at some of tge best places in the world. Here for $150, we get a very enjoyable dinner that was more than his one michellin star. Chef Stephen's delicate balancing act is almost Japanese-like.Highly recommend. The other chefs and staff were also responsive and professional. Very good place for a special dinner.Dear vincentlau, We would like to thank you for dining with us at Chef's Table by Chef Stephan. It was us a pleasure to host you. Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review about your experience. We look forward to welcoming you and your valuable guests back to Chef's Table by Chef Stephan in the near future again. The Chefâs Table Team

Ma Cuisine is a gastro wine bar by co-owners Anthony Charmetant and Mathieu Escoffier. With a shared passion, dynamism and love for wine, it was only natural that Anthony and Mathieu would collaborate to build a space that embodies their bold convictions
Had the chance to visit again Ma Cuisine in Singapore with my local clients. The experience was unforgettable, Chef Mathieu offered us to try his upcoming new delights to be added to the menu very soon... and we were definitely not disappointed! Such a spontaneous and talented chef - bone marrow & caviar, followed by a new cocotte âthe braised lamb shank ». Of course never miss a good wine pairing, the saint estephe was just unbelievable! Thanks again!
