We went for the ambiance of the restaurant. They serve Pakistani food. We went for lunch and shown to a comfortable table. We ordered a prawn curry which was great. The other dish was Kashmiri Lamb curry which was not what we expected. It tasted more like Nihari. The nans served hot from tandoor were awesome. We did not try any dessert.Would go there again.

We have always enjoyed the soft ambiance of Koel Cafe with its minimalistically elegant Bilgrami decor. The cuisine there is equally great! The best starters are the chilly prawns, artichoke dip and hummus with their signature slim, toasted naan wedges. And for entrees the inimitable Kulchas are consistently superb! And donât forget the awesome minty shikanjabin (lemonade)!Service is quick and courteous. Koel Kontinues to be Kwite Kool!

We were invited on a pleasant morning for lunch. We sat outside at a good spot. Two huge fans were blowing at us. We had them stopped. When the food came, flies descended, so fans had to go on to keep them away.Nothong exceptional.

There is a row of places on the Chai Gali where you can sit outside and enjoy the tea, the sweets and other local delicacies. It is very crowded at night with little place to park the car. There are so many different kinds of teas on the menu that are a real delight and taste so good.

Me and the wife decided to try the breakfast and did not regret it. We ordered the Eggs Benedict with Beef Bacon and the Croissant Sandwich. Perfectly poached eggs on a bed of spinach and garlic bread topped with hollandaise sauce with a bacon slice in the middle and a creamy and oozing omelette to go with a flaky and buttery croissant. Will definitely be going back for breakfast again.

A small restaurant that has a nice first impact. Nice decor. They have a good variety of Italian, American and Contenental dishes on their menu card. We ordered a beef and fish dishes. Nice presentation but the cooking was quite mediocre. Service was reasonable. Rates are a bit on the higher side. With drinks, it will cost you Rs 1200 to 1500 per person. There is no dedicated parking and one has to find a parking space in the street.

Xander's is a modern gourmet café - the concept is all about simple, fresh ingredients & light meals in a vibrant and minImalistic ambience.
Firstly.. its a small non-distinct noisy place..had placed my order whilst waiting..so when i was seated.. the quinoa and rocket salad was served..oily..no lemon flavour..only when i asked for dressing did the salad turn out right..why dont you taste your food before serving..mains were dropped whilst i was on the salad..had ordered ravioli as usual..the 2 cheese ravioli was overpowered with thai chilli..which was not mentioned on the menu..and it was actually just one cheese.. riccotta..as the parmesan ones were hardly filled..just got pasta..my mouth was burning..the orange and jalapeno chicken was soft and pleasant to eat..but no flavour of orange..tasted the sauce a number of times..maybe my palette was damaged by the thai chilli..no way..no orange in the sauce..when carrots are not in season..dont serve..rather than serving raw tasteless carrots..they were hardly sauteed..

I he been hosting all my business dinners here and never ever regretted even once, the array of menu to choose from is amazing and so is the staff! They go out of way to make the entire dinning experience memorable, food is fresh, not too much choice on desert side but rest is great, a little bit on expensive side but value for money.Ambiance is just cherry on the top, their thin pressed beef is to die for .Do I give it a shot if you are in karachi . Itâs BYOB
