Sinaia is famous for its natural beauty and the rumored medicinal properties of its mineral springs. Known as “the Carpathian Pearl,” it’s a lovely mountain town whose main attractions are castles, alpine activities like hiking and skiing, and a 17th-century monastery that is still inhabited today.

I have been there one week ago. Is is one of the best restaurants in Sinaia, and not only. The food is really really tasty, prices are acceptable, good service and the waiter was very pleasant. We strongly recommend you to try this restaurant.Thank you very much! We really appreciate hearing from our guests. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the experience and your kind words about us. Hope to see you here again soon, you'll be welcome! Kind regards, Mihaela Barbu - GM

We took lunch and dinner, both meals very tasty.
Duo veal steak and foie gras amazing taste but very expensive 160 ron(35euro).
Both goulash soup with veal and deer meat were good, a plus for veal.
Duck with mashed potatoes and horseradish, a pleasant surprise.
Smoked pork knuckle with saukeraut was ok.
Salmon with vegetables was good.
Lamb was tasty, i didn't took a side dish but i recommend to do this.
Bavareze salad wasn't on our taste.
Apfel strudel very good. It takes 20 minutes to be prepared.
Chocolate fondue with fruits, nothing special. I don't recommend it.
Even if the restaurant was crowded the dishes were prepared correct and serving was very very attentive, as usual.
Prices are high but the food is good.
I strongly recommend this location.

Restaurant din lemn de stejar si piatra de rau din complexul Piatra Soimului. Meniu incredibil de rafinat si variat pentru o zona turistica de munte si servicii etichetate ecologic. Liniste si priveliste de poveste.
Good food with a lot of choices, including vegan. The restaurant is very spacious, but the atmosphere is very cozy. The staff was very friemdly. Will definitely come again

I have visited Taverna Sarbului in Sinaia many times over many years and I can say they maintain their above average score. During the last visit the food was good (only had soup) and services speedy. Because of its size Taverna Sarbului offers a great atmosphere so if you are in Sinaia for the first time to pay them a visit.

Friends recommended this place..it has a rustic feel to it with its wooden tables and sheepskin covers. Our friends ordered a variety of foods to share...goulash soup..garlic soup in a bread bowl..bread with pig lard..polenta...wild boar and more are foods i never eat but i dared to try evetything and was not disappointed. The service was impecable..the waitress was wearing traditional garments and was so warm and welcoming...this took service with a smile to a new level.

Dear guests, We thank you all for your moral support and for all the sustaining messages that were continuously coming after the unpleasant event that happened last Sunday. By a miracle followed by a huge work of Ioana family, Forest Restaurant, Forest Garden and Focus Bar are back on track! We are looking forward to welcome you back with smiles and the joy of seeing our dear guests again, on Saturday 06.05.2017, beginning with 13:00 hours!
wow, that was something different. Located in woods with very interesting, natural design. Next to a nice hotel. Very wide selection of food, so everybody may found something here for himself. If you want some traditional or European food - you will find it there.

Cucina Sofia is at the background of International Hotel in Sinaia, just a few stairs up from the entrance. As the name says, it has mainly Italian specialties, but one can also taste Romanian cuisine. The food is good indeed and the service very fast. There are all sorts of drinks, some offered by the "house", depending on your order. During summertime it has a beautiful Terrace, spacey and the smell of the fir-trees is a delight. One can have lunch or dinner, both as well served and with tasty food, but on Monday and Tuesday it is closed. For the rest of the week, the programme is from 12 o'clock till midnight. My husband and I are going there every year since...too many years! and we are always satisfied. We know the waiters since they first started their job, and we are glad to tell that they became real professionals: ask anything you want, any combination you can imagine, and they'll do it, no matter it is lunch or dinner and no matter if what you want is or is not on the menu!

Pretentious place with a big lack of a proper service, and overrated food. We requested to sit down in the Terrace but they didn't allow us to do so as it was "fully reserved"; not true, there were 3 empty tables that kept empty the rest of the night. However we were the only occupied table inside.
We ordered the main dishes only as we wanted to have soup as starter but they didn't have any soup available.
It took more than 45 minutes to bring the 4 dishes, despite as noted above we were the only customers in the inside part, and however the restaurant was not more than 40% busy. After 45 minutes sparring while waiting for the food (they didn't consider the idea of apologise for the delay, inform or even bring some appetiser to have in the meantime) we could taste their food.
The food was absolutely poor and didn't worth the visit, the delay and the money paid.
I don't recommend this place.

"La Teleferic" Bistro. Are you a gourmand, or at least would you like to take some unforgettable culinary memories home with you? I invite you, to taste a Bean soup with 3 types of smoked meat – served in bread! Or what do you think about some Crispy, Roasted Duck Breast? And if I wasn't enough convincing yet, I should try to tell you about our Goose liver, served on baked apple with berries and almonds! If you still think you are facing a dilemma, maybe I should underline the atmosphere – that embraces you: a cozy family restaurant with homemade, freshly cooked food, served to the sound of great music... Linked to this Restaurant you'll find also a small boutique-hotel with 7 quiet rooms, exactly in the closest neighbor of the cable car ( ='teleferic') and 3 minutes walking distance from downtown.
We did hard days work, to get Teleferic to accept us in. Booking two days in advance as well as the order. It is small, intimate place, and run by a couple. We were a group, and the preparation was needed. Now, the bad news first: My auberge salad starter was fridge cold... well, sounds like first world problem, and that it indeed is. The good news is that everything else was good. Period!
