Silvi is an Italian comune in the province of Teramo, about 15 kilometres (9 mi) north of Pescara, in the Abruzzo region of central Italy. It stretches from Silvi Marina, a small seaside resort on the Adriatic Coast, to Silvi Paese up in the hills.

The place was packed on a saturday night. Bruno the owner was very accommodating, as he wizzed around to keep the service and kitchen flowing amazingly. We sat with a bottle of organic local Abruzzo white on a bench overlooking Silvi Marina and the entire souther Adriatic coast and then had a superb meal, antipasti of every sort of seafood. He just kept bringing it on. No menu. All delights.

We dined here a few times for lunch and dinner! My advice would be reject the English menu and ask for a selection from the Italian menu. I think they have tried to cater for holidaymakers but you are better ordering what they do best! Menu is small and pizzas only in the evenings, but smaller the menu the better in my opinion!
They do lots of fish tapas type dishes! They also do great a Ragu pasta if you aren't a seafood person!
Full of locals, TV on in the background and they were always really friendly!
Will go back again!

This restaurant located near the medieval fort, the ''Torre di Cerrano'' is a hidden gem because it specialises in food typical of the Abruzzo region. Food from this Italian region is not well known abroad, but is very distinctive owing to the extremely varied climate and geography of the Abruzzo area, which comprises large mountain ranges, Forests and the sea, all within a 100km distance.
There is also a nice slection of good value wines. Especially recommended is the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.
The family who run the restaurant are polite and accomodating and generous with their servings.

Italian pizzeria with wood oven and typical Mediterranean kitchen. An intimate place with a rustic flavor of a cozy inn. Specialties of the Abruzzi tradition (such as Arrosticini ) and homemade dishes, pasta ... etc. (for example noodles and beans). Fine grilled meat.Restaurant offers a varied cuisine and genuine and more than 130 types of pizza. The place is also available for weddings, birthdays and other types of festivities. Capacity is 75 seats inside. In summer, outdoor Seating available.
Is a family run pizzeria restaurant where the value for money is the priority! Need to book in time as the place is well known and usually busy. Food is very good and service is fast comparing the amount of people was there that night.
Is not a kind of restaurant to go for a romantic dinner, but a good place to go with friends where you can taste good food, I took ravioli filled with ricotta cheese and porcini mushrooms, with black truffle slide as topping, then had to finish part of my daughter pizza. Ravioli are freshly made by them like all the fresh pasta dishes there!
Pizza was also good, my wife took a mix pork meat grill, she couldn't finish it, too much...
The restaurant structure is just the ground floor of a house with no fancy stuff but clean, a bit out of town, about 5 Km from Silvi beach side I guess but i worth to go to taste some typical food from Abbruzzo.

Tipical italian traditional italian stile
Another classic example of a restaurant in Italy that you wouldn't go to unless someone recommended it. Although we shold have remembered that Italian truck drivers are a discerning lot when it come to food, and therefore the large car park out front, rammed with trucks most days, was a good sign.
Inside it's a large, ordinary dinng room buzzing with conversation and TV. Complementary mussels for all were a good way to start, and then it was generous portions of well-cooked spaghetti a la vongole, skewers of gilled fish and fritura mista washed down with house wine. Service was quick and friendly
And all for around €60. For four. Unbelievable value.
We'll be back.

I have had the pleasure of eating here on two separate trips. One at their old location and once at their new location!
Here you will experience "FRESH", not RECENTLY DEFROSTED local seafood!
Amazing, simple, aromatic tasty food. Appatizers are so delicious and celebrate the true flavours of individual fish types to give you the experience you may never have elsewhere. You pay for excellent fresh quality by people who care about offering their patrons the "best seafood" experience.
Good Service and pleasant surroundings.
Minutes away from the restaurant you can hear the waves of the Adriatic Ocean.
Congratulations to Chef Claudio and All the others affiliated with the restaurant!
The shrimp risotto with a grappa flambe' was very delicious and very memorable!!!
Auguroni a tutti al ristorante conchiglia D'oro !

This is the place to go early evening before dinner or around 9pm. The queues are huge .. always a good sign in Italy! Dont think they do food but Velvet next door (entrance in the square) apparently do very good food. Didn't have a chance to try it.

Have eaten here a few times and always recommend it to others. The steaks and homemade pasta and choice of wines is really very good. Comfortable environment.

I've been a regular client of this place over the years. However, this year it's never open: one day it was Thursday (their closing day), then they had a flooding, today they're having a private ceremony. Honestly I'm going to try somewhere else as I'm tired of calling to check day after day.
