Reviewed By manishagarwalhyd2We had stayed here (2 families) on new years eve. The property is very well designed and maintained. The evening view of Gangtok city was absolutely breathtaking. Sanjay, the in house chef cooked some delectable stuff for us and the fire place in common area added to the overall warmth and welcome environment that the property has. The bedrooms are quite spacious and very well maintained. Highly recommended for someone who wants to spend quality time away from the city crowd.

Most stunning and adventurous stay that we will remember and cherish upon for many years to come. Food was very delicious and I specifically recommend to not miss the fantastic food experience.

We benefited of great homemade cooking while staying there. Our room was spacious and clean with a great view on the environment. The owner is a very nice person and the whole family will do anything to make you happy. A 100% recommended !

Reviewed By ashu_jampotI went there during the peak season in May 18. The prices were exorbitant w.r t to the homestay and the amenities available. The cleanliness of toilets was something which needs to be looked upon. It was stinky and therefore i did not even use it once. Even i went outside to pee.If your are charging so much, then you are expected to give atleast neat and clean toilets. The rooms were ok, if you consider of it being a homestay. The quality of food was also ok. Can be done with it if you stay there for a night. Overall, it needs lot of improvement to woo guests. I went there after looking at their facebook page, but as we say pics can be deceptive. Better to look for another option in Padamchen as there are lot of options available or move ahead to Zuluk or even stay at a little lower altitude at Lingtam. Would not visit there again for sure.

Reviewed By 9708372852aThis is an amazing hotel. Staff is very nice and humble, hotel decor is good and reasonably premium. Morning buffet is amazing, has good quality food and diverse menu. The only thing I felt could have been better is the room size, its bit crunched compared to other hotels in this price range.

A family owned heritage home built in 1930s. There are two double rooms and two single rooms. The best part of the property is that it have a great root toward history of Sikkim. This heritage home once was a jail to punish the criminals in those days where Kings ruled Sikkim. A Comfortable stay with food cooked traditionally in earthern Chullah is what you can have an experience of a lifetime.
Decent place to stay for a couple of days in Gangtok
Reviewed By Sags79Located a bit further away from the buzz of the centre of Gangtok, this is an historical place renovated with style to maintain the old world charm. The owner stayed in the adjoining house. He was kind to invite us to his place and introduced us to his family. They have two adorable dogs and a couple of goats within the compound. My daughter loved having them around. The bed rooms are basic yet comfortable. The common living room is very simple yet nicely decorated. We spent quite a bit of time reading in this room. The food was home cooked and delicious.

Reviewed By senshiladityaVery good stay, location was fantastic, just 1-2 km walking from Football stadium. Overall ambience is very good, specially the hospitality was too good. Also Mall is not far from here, just take a share taxi from opposite side of the road and they will just charge u 10-15Rs to take you to the Mall.
