I stayed here in 1995, and had a lovely experience. In 2022 I returned, and had an even better one ! I endorse all the favourable reviews, and would emphasise the cordiality and efficiency of this delightful old-fashioned place. May it last at least another 27 years! The food is terrific, too.

Auberge Sable D'Or is a B&B right on Legzira beach, which is located at the turnoff on the route between Mirleft and Sidi Ifni in South Morocco. Local buses and taxis stop at this turnoff. I had an amazing 3-night stay and I cannot recommend this place enough! The hotel owner Mohamed is the kindest man, he made the planning and the booking process easy, the communication prior to my stay was excellent, and he even offered to give me a lift from Sidi Ifni to Legzira on the day of my arrival, which was a godsend at the end of a long travel day from Marrakesh! It was a pleasure to talk to him about Berber music and Moroccan culture and share a meaningful conversation over dinner! Mohamed also gave me a lift to Sidi Ifni the next day, and made enquiries for me about CTM buses to Essaouira, and also organised transportation for me on the early morning of my departure from Legzira to Essaouira, which I cannot thank him enough for! The hotel is a dream: it's basically right on the beach with the ocean at your feet and the famous red stone arches within walking distance! Lots of stairs to go down on to reach the beach, but this ensures that each room has its own ocean view or its own terrace with ocean views. The beautiful downstairs terrace decorated in Berber style is a great place to relax and have breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is included and it's typically Moroccan. The restaurant serves delicious Moroccan dishes and I particularly enjoyed the grilled fish! The hotel is clean and very atmospheric. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is no wifi and local phone providers may not work in the hotel itself, but I could get good phone and internet signal on the beach and a bit further up the hill. This place is ideal to enjoy peaceful days sunbathing on the beach and exploring on foot the 8-km long Legzira beach with the famous arches and spectacular coves and rock formations! You can also ride a quad bike, swim, surf, paraglide, ride a camel, have tea on the beach or do a cliff walk with breathtaking views of the Atlantic ocean and the coast. Some of the best sunsets are to be seen on Legzira beach! This hotel is also a great base to visit Sidi Ifni and Mirleft. Don't hesitate to book it for the experience of a life time!

This hotel is very comfortable, if a little tired. The beds were very good and pillows. The room was a bit chilly but the manager lent us a fire from his house, which was a life-saver. We recommend this hotel, we stayed for three nights and plan to return.

The rooms were basic but clean. The amazing view and spacious terrace definitely made up for the lack of luxury. The "chef de cuisine" made sure our entire group (11) had a room with a view and treated us with two tasteful dinners (his pastries were divine!). His passion for cooking was inspiring and unforgettable. If he hadn't been a Chef, he definitely would have made it as an actor, what an inspiring man !

We stayed here with an Intrepid Travel group. From the outside the place looks promising and is likely one of the better places in town, but our room was quite lacking in basics and safety. Room 117 was large enough, but very sparsely furnished and poorly lit. It had no personality and could have been a budget hotel room anywhere in the world. For us, the worst aspect of staying there was the unsafe electrical fixtures. The electrical outlet by my bedside table was loose and pulled partly out of the wall when I tried to use it. It was very difficult to safely remove our charger. The reading light over both beds had a worn, glue-repaired cord, which blinked constantly and then stopped working. We unplugged it and got by with the extremely low-wattage overhead bulb. (We reported these issues to the desk at checkout.) In the plus column: The shower was hot and the sink had a working plug so we could wash some clothing. Overall, the room was the poorest quality in 25 days traveling in Morocco. At check-in, our first room had no shower curtain so we were moved to a room with a dirty one. Towels had large tears, bedspreads were stained/soiled, breakfast was the most minimal we’ve had-bread, juice and coffee served without any plates! If you do need to stay at this hotel, thoroughly inspect your room before moving in!

I stayed 4 nights in this lovely small hotel. Aurélie is a welcoming and charming host. My room was very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was a delight! There are many basic hotels in Sidi Ifni but Janna d'Ifni is in a different bracket altogether. There is also a garden with pool to relax in. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Centrally located only 200 m from beach.
We have been one week in Eddib hotel. We recommend this place. The owner and part of the staff speak english, french and spanish and they are amazing, so good people. The room confortable for 150 or 200 Dh. Hot shower and very clean but no kitchen. They have also a cafe with excelent breakfast for 20/25Dh and pizza restaurant. If you want to find easy the place you can ask for maison d' hotel Eddib or for the pizzeria and cafe with the same name in a corner.
