A visit to Sicily is truly a feast for all senses. The Mediterranean island is a foodie’s paradise, offering rustic fare that makes the most of local bounty. Crispy/creamy arancini – fried balls of rice filled with cheese and sauce – are mouthfuls of heaven. The Sicilian sweet tooth has manifested in some of the world’s finest desserts, like icy granita and sinful cannoli. Give your stomach a quick break and visually devour the Baroque architecture of Catania or the awesome holy monuments of Agrigento.

A recently restored farmhouse which combines healthy rural simplicity with comfortable hospitality, surrounded by delightful countryside and green pastures between Palermo, Agrigento and the unique coastline of Cefalu. The farm is organically run, and also rears sheep and cows. The farm, with a scenic view of the valleys, has 25 rooms with bathrooms, furnished in an Arte Povera style, with air conditioning, heating, safe, minibar, television, hairdryer and telephone and 5 apartments with kitchenettes. Adults and children can relax in the agriturismo's 2 swimming pools, while the riding school offers horseback excursions. The pastoral farm, dairy farm and fruit and vegetable orchards and gardens provide produce for the restaurant's traditional rural dishes, which guests can learn how to recreate in the farm's cookery courses. The farm produces and sells typical regional produce, such as traditional Sicilian cheeses, preserves and organic tomato sauce.A perfect location for those who want to experience a region rich in culture and natural beauty, which spans from the crystal sea of Cefalu to the inland countryside, from the sandy coast of Agrigento to the volcanic summit of Etna, from the Madonie Regional Natural Park to the Monti Sicani nature reserve, and the fascinating Palermo with its history of past civilisations such as the Valley of the Temples. At Villa Dafne, guests can enjoy horse riding, hiking, and a holiday surrounded by nature, wonderful food and wine and the utmost relaxation.
Nice quiet place except weekends its somewhat more lively. Very good food and a lot of it from their own farm - except the breakfast is somewhat dull or just very italian and sweet. The staff in general do not speak english very well - but they do their best and or try to find someone who can. Some covid restrictions,no cooking class or pizza! - should be visible on homepage we might have chosen another place if we had know . Otherwise nice place, roads on inland sicily sucks :) - it takes a while to drive and see places, dont go here if you have no car or are scared of small mountain roads The surroundings are very beautiful if the place should develop itself. Go there if you want nice and quiet natural surroundings and great food. It could be cool if they had better internet - it really was sporadic at best. They should prioritize more things to do locally like cooking class etc - it could be done outside for example, having mountainbikes … Anyways great place recommended

I really enjoyed my stay. WiFi worked, big breakfast, free parking, beautiful view from the pool, friendly staff. The rooms are very basic, the road to get there is very narrow and hidden. Thankfully they out signs up, but I still managed to get lost coming back from dinner. Which, they do not offer at the resort. It would have been nice to stay in for a night. Nice for the price. I was planning my trip from America online, and the advertising says Taormina. It is not in Talking, but is centrally located. The beach is close, gole Alecantara, Etna and Taormina are all very close.

We stayed for one night in the middle of winter, and were some of the only guests. We were made SO welcome and were very well fed! Loved seeing a real working farm and meeting the whole family. The decor in the main dining room is perfect natural elegance.

Spacious halls, a quiet reading room and a light-filled veranda overlooking the garden, we have facilities to suit every taste and every requirement. Our individual and perfectly appointed guestrooms offer delightful views of the vineyards, the hills and the olive groves surrounding the estate. Our “charme” guestrooms are intimate and cosy, while our “superior” suites are larger and offer a private balcony or direct access to our gardens. All guestrooms are fully equipped with air conditioning and heating, minibar, in-room safe box, hair-drier and complimentary Wi-Fi.
We stayed one night in this beautiful place before returning to cramped Palermo! Really in the middle of nowhere but what beautiful views! We enjoyed it very much. Functional check-in and check out. Nice family room, tastefully furnished and with a very large bathroom. Ancient furniture all around the nice common premisses. Excellent pool and beautiful surroundings. Perfectly clean. We had dinner there and the food was fine. Not too much choice but sufficient. Excellent wine. Good service. Breakfast was also good: varied:fruit, ham, cheese, boiled eggs and all sorts of sweet items, and a nice waiter serving guests at the buffet because of Covid . We would have liked to be given some information about the winery at check in, but nothing was offered. This place deserves an excellent rating.

The Agriresort “Tenuta Giarretta” is a great place for everything; to enjoy the landscape, the vegetation, the air and the sun. Characterized by the presence of fifteen hectares of greenery, the property sits, with appearance of an ancient castle, in an atmosphere of absolute and pristine beauty. As a gem of Amber nestled between the river of the Simeto on one side and the Mount Etna on the other.

Il Carmine is located on the top of Mount Erice, and it is an oasis of peace completely compatible with the history and the characteristics of the medieval town of Erice. It was a Carmelite friars' Monastery but now thanks to a renovation, our guests can stay in very comfortable rooms. All our rooms are equipped with the following comforts: - heating system; - private bathroom; - towels and bed linen; - satellite TV; - hair dryer; - desk; - balcony (only in some of the rooms);- tidy up and daily cleaning; - change of towels and bed linen every three days;- independent access h24.
We had this converted convent almost to ourselves as we were traveling during the off season – two weeks before Easter. Consequently, the staff was extremely welcoming, lovely, and attentive. The place was completely quiet. The breakfast bountiful and the attention of the chef at dinner was amazing! We chose the Deluxe Room with a private terrace (see pictures) that you must walk up a little step ladder to get to, but it was a lovely place to sit for an evening apperitivo before dinner. It had a nice bathroom and was totally quiet in early April. It was great to be in Erice overnight as it is a magnet for day tourists and almost deserted in the evening. We stayed two nights and had the village almost to ourselves during our post-dinner passegiattas ... in a misty fog (pictured).

Villa Rica is an ideal place to spend a pleasant holiday in Sicily, in contact with nature and away from the city noise. You will find yourself in a peaceful oasis among secular olive, orange and fruit groves, a typical Mediterranean scenario. Seven km ahead of you the sea and the Eolian Island will render magic and unforgettable this corner of Sicily.
No words can describe how friendly, understanding and helpful everyone was! They picked me up form Patti center and prepared delicious vegetarian meals. We had a really good chat with everyone there and also a very nice evening with a guitar and singing! The rooms are comfy and the views are spectacular. Such a tranquil place, great to relax surrounded by nature. Gracias por la hospitalidad Alfredo e grazie Nicolo! Aleksandra and Katarina

Placed in the heart of Madonie Mountain, 600 meters above sea level, a few kilometers from the village of Pollina in the province of Palermo, only 12 Km from the municipalities of Castelbuono and Cefalu and 10 km from the highway to Palermo-Catania-Messina. Renovated with taste in respect of rural tradition, renowned for its homely comforts and exceptional standards of care, “Casale Margherita” will captivate you with its catering and hospitality. Our bedrooms are very comfortable, with balconies and windows overlooking the surrounding countryside, with views of the Aeolian Islands and of the characteristic village of Pollina.
What a great place, a little gem in the mountaines with a lovely view on the town of Pollina. They make fantastic food and I got true Sicilian hospitality by Julia and Maria. I felt so very welcome, I would definately return here and can recommend Casale Margherita to anyone!

Surrounded by greenery, Borgata Baldazza offers extensive grounds with a swimming pool, five-a-side football pitch and children's playground. It is 3 km from Linguaglossa, just outside Etna Regional Park. All rooms are air conditioned and have a traditional design with wood-beamed ceilings and tiled floors. They include a TV, fridge and a patio overlooking the Gulf of Giardini Naxos and Nebrodi Valley.
What a great time we had at Borgata Baldazza. Manuela, Gigi and Andrea were great. They made our stay super special. The food was very very good and homely. Compliments to the chef. It was our second stay at it did not change a bit. The grounds are great and well maintained. We will surely be back. Well done!
