Warm welcome and cold drinks set the scene for the giant panini served moments later. While Vera provided a nice balance of ham and capers, the Calabria really put a spring in my step. Its spicy pesto, pepper-jack cheese and salami was very vibrant, and was washed down with a nice bottle of Moretti. My other half loved her malvasia, which was cold, crisp and very moreish. Great value at 19 euro including a bottle of water.Must visit in Lipari. Wide selection of wines, beers and spirits. Many tasty food options on request too. Give it a try - and just ask.

We visited several times during our stay and watched the world go by. Cold beer and apertivo snacks available but disappointingly no real food. Staff were pleasant most of the time.

We had Pizza and it was really really good! Nice, covered open air restaurant with great people watching. Service was good! It was nice, too that they had a menu in English. The waitress was soo nice. We received a complimentary tapas appetizer with bruschetta, tepenade spread and some olives. Reasonable prices, good italian beer. After our lunch, the waitress brought us a complimentary shot of some italian after dinner drink and little sesame cookies. How nice! if we ever get to this part of Italy again, we will stop here.

The absolute best dish I enjoyed over 26 days in Sicily. Dinner, dessert, and wine were exquisite. A contemporary take on traditional Sicilian food in a wonderful atmosphere.The waiters tend not to speak much English, but the owner will gladly assist, take your order, and help you find the right wine (86 page wine menu). A great place to take some time and enjoy a fine meal. And, thanks for introducing us to malvasia.
