I visit Yibin very frequent for my business and not very much used to Chinese palate , also I have my colleagues from different part of the world and they are also not very much used to Chinese cuisine either , we have been to going to McDonalds as this was the only international brand we are familiar with. We have been hogging on their burgers and fries for many days and have been looking for a change. I tried tripadvisor and was glad to know REDFORT cultural restaurant group have come up with their new location in Yibin. We were excited when we landed as I have visited REDFORT in Xi'an ,Beijing and Guanghan earlier. I was really overwhelmed to see the location which was a lovely mall in heart of the city. We went for a dinner and were welcomed by their Indian manager Jay . The place is awesomely designed with Indian handicrafts and antiques ,they have two huge beautifully carved wooden elephants hand painted by Indian artists with great collection of other handicrafts like indian paintings,traditional attires and many versatile collections making it a mini India in Yibin. We were 11 people and were offered a private chamber with indian designed Windows and interiors. The bar manager Sunny offered some cool cocktails which were great and colorful. We ordered indian fried fish,tandoori fish,chicken tikka, black pepper lamb which was really amazing and everyone loved it,for main course we ordered seafood and lamb biryani,REDFORT chicken curry, palak lamb and tandoori raan, it was truly out of the world experience and their live dance made it even better,got to meet their head chef Dev Singh Chaudhary who has been working in China for over two decades and he told that he has been working with REDFORT since 2012 and have supported all their locations. Final verdict for Yibin REDFORT is THE place where once can really have the best of Indian food,enjoy Indian music and live dance and feel on top of the world. I am wondering why REDFORT is not there in Chengdu , hope they open there soon. Cheers......
