Scalini Fedeli is our go to place for fresh high quality food, impeccable service and traditional ambiance. The menu is quite diverse and chefs are accommodating. The food is just outstanding from seafood, to steaks to pastas. The dining room can get just a bit loud on a Saturday night, but it is a place a celebration and connection. Instead of saving it for a special occasion, I encourage you to give a try just for a nice night out - it really is a good value.

This is one of the best bakeries in Central New Jersey. The go to place for many residents for every day needs, special events and the holidays. Well prepared cakes, pies and cookies. Can get very crowded on the holiday weeks and best to order ahead as popular items sell out quickly. A couple soft points, service can be inconsistent as they employee lots of people and some are more helpful than others, parking is limited so can be difficult to park close. Finally after spending an hour speaking in person with them they didn't deliver the special order cake as requested.

In the kitchen of Fiorino Ristorante only the best will do. We have a zero-tolerance policy for anything that sacrifices quality. As expert chefs, we know that the best dishes start with the best ingredients. On our menu, you will find the finest Italian inspired dishes that the area has to offer, and we have spent years perfecting each and every item on our menu so that every dish is memorable. From our housemade raviolis to our signature cocktails, everything is crafted with an absolute attention to detail. The result is a journey of sorts, where each bite will transport you to the heart of Italy, and you will constantly have to remind yourself that you are not on a farm or a vineyard in Tuscany after each subsequent, delicious bite. We invite you to come experience Fiorino for yourself, let us take you across the globe, if only for dinner.
We ate here on a Friday night right before Christmas. The place was packed. The tables are very close together so we felt a little like sardines in a can. And the noise level made it difficult to talk. We have been in other fully packed restaurants, but with better acoustics (lacking here) where you can hear yourself talk.
The food is very good, though also pricey (e.g., the shrimp and angel hair pasta dish cost about 20% more than the same dish at other restaurants). Service was very good. Despite a fully packed restaurant, dinner did not take too long to come out, and water glasses were refilled without asking.
If you don't mind a high noise level, this restaurant is very good. But I know restaurants that are equally good and much quieter, so we probably will not return here unless maybe on a week day.

The signature dish at Legal Sea Foods – really fresh fish. Our restaurant is located inside The Mall at Short Hills on the lower level. You may choose to beach yourself in our dining room or at our bar. Either way, we’ll think you walk on water - be sure to see our aquarium of koi fish built into the floor. Legal Sea Foods has long proven that a consistent, high quality dining experience never goes out of style. With over 40 varieties of fresh fish and shellfish available throughout the year as well as an award-winning wine list, there’s no doubt why legions of fans have fallen hook, line and sinker. We’ve received a boatload of accolades including the honor of serving our legendary New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inauguration since 1981.
Yes, here, as almost everywhere else, you get the best service when it's busy. And, despite efforts by top management, there are differences in this chain, from food to service, location by location. My wife and I hadn't been to this location in many years, but, during a mall visit, expected great food and decent service -- we got both. Noise? Only from a loudmouth at the next table -- otherwise it was bearable at dinner. Two glasses of Albarino, in generous pours ($11 each) were wonderful, as were the Cotuit oysters ($3) each -- which were identified for me by the server -- unlike the case at the Cambridge, Mass. Legal Seafoods. My wife loved her New England clam chowder cup ($6.95). Also unlike the Cambridge location, the table was cleared of starters before the mains arrived: Grilled Haddock ($25.95) for me with sides of cole slaw and roasted mushrooms; Grilled Mahi-Mahi with sauteed spinach ($25.95) for my wife. Both great and satisfying -- and at prices that look more and more like bargains, compared with similar offerings from other restaurants.

This place is awesome. It's busy and fun! The food was amazing. I had the "godfatha" sandwich and it was so good! I will definitely come here again.

Went to dinner with friends after attending an event at nearby Drew University. MUST have reservations as we got the last table in the bar area when I called on the same day. We went on a Saturday night and they offered 2 seatings - 6:15 pm and 8:30 pm with a minimum food/beverage fee per person. Live Jazz music is offered nightly and we picked a Latin Jazz night and both seatings were sold out. The service was good and as was the food. My only disappointment was the key lime pie we ordered for dessert which was served in 2 dispositional sizes and not plated very appealingly. If you go to the earlier seating as we did it was nice that we did not feel rushed when guest began to arrive for the second seating, but we knew that we needed to prepare to go and we were pretty much ready since the music set had ended and we had already had dessert and coffee and the check was delivered. I will definitely go again.

Moe’s Bistro is a reflection of Moe’s personality, knowledge, and humor. He wants to bring something memorable and thoroughly enjoyable to every table
Pleasant atmosphere and very nice entertainment on a Saturday night. The food was average to good, but the wines by the glass were all pretty bad. The wine list was not much better. Too bad they recently received their liquor license!!

"Dinner at this jewel-like restaurant has been described as the "ultimate level of culinary enlightenment" stated the Asbury Park Press. Serenade serves contemporary French cuisine created by the collaborated efforts of James and Nancy Laird. Come visit this beautiful restaurant located in the picturesque town of Chatham, New Jersey."
This has always been one of our favorite restaurants but we had not been here in a while. So, recently for my birthday, I knew it was a must. And we were not disappointed.
There are several lovely rooms and the tables are a comfortable distance apart. The chairs are incredibly comfortable (sadly a rare find in most restaurants!). The service is impeccable with a seasoned mature waitstaff who are very familiar with the menu.
Now for the best part— the meal. My husband started with a crab cake that he said was delicious and I had the creamless autumn soup with water chestnuts, fall veggies and shaved truffles on top- fantastic. My husband chose for his entree a two beef special- a braised rib and flank steak. It was cooked to perfection and plated beautifully. I opted for the roasted lobster with potatoe cakes and fresh veggies in a delicate light cream sauce. Someone came around, twice, offering a variety of fresh rolls which were warm and delicate. We were so full at this point so elected to skip dessert but our server brought over a yummy very berry sorbet with a candle, followed by a small dish of delicate candies. The service was attentive but not smothering.
The food, the service and ambiance can rival any restaurant in NY. In fact, on the way home my husband remarked it was one of the best meals he’s had out in ages.
We won’t make the mistake of waiting so long to return. Plan ahead- difficult to get a reservation on the spur of the moment!

Went for a business meeting with 15 of my partners and was not disappointed. They were able to accommodate us in their private room and the service was spectacular. My T-bone was cooked perfectly and the apps were great. Not a big fan of the puff bread but that just my personal opinion. They should offer regular bread too. Overall a very good experience.

The Cheesecake Factory offers something for everyone featuring a wide variety of over 200 menu items prepared fresh to order each day, plus over 30 legendary varieties of the Finest Cheesecake.
We had lunch at this very popular chain restaurant twice during our shopping at The Mall at Short Hills.
Two years back we had lunch at the branch in Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, New Jersey and were quite excited to go to the chain restaurant again.
Conforming to its rather large format of coupes and open seating the family restaurant also has high-chair seating in its bar. The restaurant lighting is somewhat low but the bar lets in light from a large window behind the counter.
We were four of us the first time and ordered some beer and wine along with Korean Crispy Cauliflower which had a yummy sweet and tangy flavour. The Truffled Bacon and Cheese sticks were very also delicious and so were the Caesar's Salad and Tomato Basil Pasta, both with chicken. The next time we were two of us and ordered only two antipasti--Korean Crispy Cauliflower and Chicken Taquitos, which were crispy fried rolls and came with a nice sauce. Both the dishes were very flavorful and filling.
You can't go back from the restaurant without having their cheese cakes. The first time we ordered our favorite Caramel and sea salt cheese cake and the second time it was The Original Cheese cake. Both are absolutely delicious and to-die-for cheese cakes.
Service the first time could have been better and more efficient but was more than compensated for on the next visit. The portions are decent, pricing reasonable and the overall experience makes it worth a repeat once in a while.
