Linger-worthy local The Dish & The Spoon Café on Scenic Drive, serves up spectacular river views and fare with flair to Nowra diners. This family and pet friendly café beckons as a spot to soak up the sun alfresco, while soothing the soul with a smooth, a
Our group of 10 was concerned that as this delightfully located cafe was so busy, our orders might well take some time. but we were pleasantly surprised that they arrived quickly. All dishes were very good quality, tasty, well presented and reasonably priced and the service was prompt, efficient and friendly.

Visited Nowra for a short stay, drove past the Berry St cafe on the way to our motel and decided that was the place for breakfast. Service was pleasant and welcoming, decor was beautiful (if you love 50âs laminate tables & chairs Iike we do). Breakfast servings and prices are reasonable and perfectly cooked. Pancakes w/bacon and maple syrup, freshly squeezed juice, bacon and eggs and my sometimes fussy daughter asking for a lunch dish for breakfast (salmon salad). Good coffee and loved the pineapple glasses! A fun, casual and tasty place!

We chose this small unassuming cafe for morning tea. The chai latte was hot, sweet and well balanced. The thickly sliced raisin toast arrived on a pre heated plate and was beautiful. Theses people are at the top of their game - thinking of everything. Highly recommend

My wife and I stumbled upon this cafe recently and ended up having lunch there, the food was very good and the coffee and iced coffee good quality. Around $50 for two quality meals and two drinks. Good value. Will go again for sure when next in the area. Thanks ladies.

Had a lovely breakfast - pancakes, bacon & maple syrup which were light and fluffy and big brekkie for husband which was a big brekkie - much the same as others we had had but still good and about the same price. However, I regularly see this cafe full and so was a little surprised when the table next to us asked the waitress if the last order was coming to their table soon. They were told that it wouldn't be long but we ARE very busy. I dont think this is unusual and I regularly see it full so perhaps a change in operations may be in order or more staff are required at different times. They have been open long enough to know when these will be. I personally hate being made to feel guilty for asking a reasonable request. Coffee was very bitter.

Coffee Shop with Gigs on some weekends
The food is lovely, we were impressed with their menu and all five of us enjoyed our meals, thatâs why Iâm giving two stars. The service on the other hand - the lady who took our order was sullen, rude, didnât look at me once, talked over me and seemed to get hugely frustrated when I had to go outside and ask my partner what else she wanted as they had run out of chicken. Really disappointed with the attitude of this forty something woman.

Having arrived early in Nowra after a long commute I searched Trip Advisor for a breakfast spot. The Cake Place looked interesting so I went there on the recommendations. What a found was a trendy little cafe serving vegetarian and conventional breakfasts. Service was friendly and the range of choice for breakfast was great. I selected the corn fritters and it was a big meal. I loved the spicy chorizo sausage with the avocado served alongside the corn fritters. The tomato relish was also delicious.
