Cycling along the edge of the lake and we just wanted some chips. The first couple of places we tried didn't seem to sell them but this place did. The man who served us spoke enough English to understand us (we only learned enough Albanian to say please and thankyou, pretty much). The chips were really good, seasoned really well. Quiet compared to other places we passed but if the rest of the food is as good as the fries, you'll be alright.

The immediate area is quite dilapidated and we weren't expecting much for lunch from the restaurant. However the waiter was very friendly and spoke great English. He said that they specialise in fish and meat and he showed us what was good on the menu. There was so much food. The bill came to just 25 euros - incredible value for what we ate and drank (0.5L wine). The waiter saw we were cycling back and handed us two free bottles of water to put on out bikes. Very kind. Doesn't accept card payments.Does accept euros.

Enjoy tasty traditional grill food and cold beer. Great place for breakfasts, lunches, dinners and also late night dinners. Feel very warm and comfortable in our interior or sit outside to enjoy a view of the neighborhood.

We ate lunch at Temali as we were looking for some authentic Albanian cuisine. We were happy to have chosen Temali, very friendly staff and small cozy atmosphere. The food was really tasty with fresh ingredients. :) I recommend eating lunch here.

While walking at the Pedonale, I saw a small bill board in front of this restaurant advertising coffee and brioche for 150-180 leks.I chose the table at the back area to be away from other smoking customers. While waiting for my order, the two women seated near me started smoking so I moved to another table, away from them.While waiting for my order, two men came and sat in the table near me. When the men were about to light up their cigarettes, the waiter asked them not to and pointed to me. Was glad when they complied!I hurriedly ate my breakfast and left this restaurant. I was initially planning to eat my dinner here later, but may be NOT!Sorry but the offer was for tea and not for coffee...

Really tasty and freshly-grilled local Albanian meat! You can't resist the nice smell, even if you're not hungry. I'm actually not a meat fan, and mostly don't risk to order smth new for me, but I really enjoyed my meal! Prices - pfff, cheap :)
