We came here during a road trip from Tokyo to Kyoto. No-one could speak English to us but with help of google translate and watching those around us, we managed to figure out what was going on, and ordered some sushi. You cannot just take food from the conveyor like you can in some restaurants (Like Yo Sushi in UK). You can take if it is just on a plate, but if it is on a plate on top of a red bowl then someone has ordered it and you can't take it. You use the touch screen to find what you want and order it. Maximum 4 pending orders. When your order is coming towards your table, a tune plays at your table to alert you. When you have finished, you press another button on your screen and a waitress comes and counts your plates and gives you the bill. Then you take your bill to the front desk to pay. We had loads of food between 2 of us and it only cost us about £20. Amazing.
