The restaurant is rather dark inside, and cold. The service in general is slipshod, compared with usual Japanese service. The food was a waste of money - far removed from anything like a good Italian pizza. On the wall it said: "Neapolitan pizza". Oh dear, no.The salad bar is unmanageably small. There were no condiments in sight, no Parmesan cheese, just some unnamed, unidentifiable sauces for the salad veg. The maccheroni were acceptable. There were ceramic dishes with roast potatoes, a kind of lasagne, and some very chewy, dull potato puffs. None of them was hot - although they must have been at some stage in their lives. A waiter brought a fresh baked dish, saying "atsui" ("hot"). Well, the SURFACE was warm. The inside was cold.Staff come round with small slices of pizza on a palette. I've never heard of 'mochi' pizza. The others were dismally poorly loaded - not much tomato paste, a meagre sprinkling of mushrooms. The lunch menu is "As much as you can eat in 100 minutes, for 1500 yen per person". We left after about 60 minutes. We had arrived in great hopes, but left sorely disappointed, with lumps of dough crust sitting in our stomachs. A sad experience, which we will not be repeating. We could have eaten TWICE at Hamazushi for that money, and would have enjoyed the food. This is a Mickey Mouse place for Mickey Mouse families wanting to take small innocent children out for a treat.
