It was rainy day. I had dinner at this restaurant and ordered fried seafood set meal. The food was delicious with big portion. Owner uncle was very kind. When he saw outside still raining, he decided to send me back to my hotel by his own minivan. I was so touched. On the second day, I went to his restaurant again and ordered sashimi set. The meal with variety of fishes and very fresh. Upon I finished my meal, the owner given me one more plate of fish for me to try. It was amazing and really made my day.I wish to have chance to visit the place again and hope owner uncle and his wife in good health.

Positions itself as an izakaya, but it closes for the day at 4:00 p.m. (1600 hours). That is like a striptease artist performing in a burka and never taking it off.

We are here with three small children. They gave us fish soup and mikans at the end but otherwise we ordered one set and some sashimi. It was all super fresh quality and delicious, but our total worked out to over 500 yen per piece of sashimi. The cost would be prohibitive for us to go back, although they were kind and accommodating. I somewhat felt like they took advantage of is with their very steep prices on a sleepy Sunday night in their town.
We came on a night they were suppose to be open, we waited and waited till 20mins after they should have been open. Nothing but a locked door is what we saw.

This place is amazing. Location is great; it is on the cliff of east coast of Izu Peninsula between Atagawa and Inatori, so you have a super nice view. Food is expensive but really tasty. I had Aji-Donburi (rice-ball with Aji fish), see the photo. It is self explanatory. Highly recommended!

Waste of money, the lobsters werenât worth the price. They pretended not to understand any English and they knew that we would never come back.
