Things to do in Ritto
The meal started with an assortment of French-inspired hors d’oeuvres with a Japanese twist and also a small cup of squash bisque. Then came beef rump which Hideaki, the chef-owner, expertly cooked and sliced to medium-rare perfection, alongside shiitake, cucumber and a tasty orange gelatinous rectangular cube (forgot what it was called). Salt, ponzu sauce and slivers of fried garlic were available to custom season the meat. And it was oh so delicious! The next course was filet mignon cooked again to medium rare perfection. Then came the garlic fried rice served with oshinko. By this time, each of us were satiated. But Hideaki had a couple more courses to serve before dessert. The next course was a curious patty made of miso paste, cheese and something else which I cannot remember. It resembled double thick hash brown. And after that, Hideaki served Japanese beef curry with rice. Dessert was banana flambé served over vanilla ice cream and coffee. The consensus by the family is that this meal topped of all the meals we had on this vacation. Thank you so much, Hideaki!

ヒレステーキのセットにしましたが食べやすい様に一口だいに切って合ってお箸だけで頂けます。お店は狭いので予約してから行くのが良いと思います。
