Prime rib and rib eyes cooked to perfection. My first visit to Legends (I’m English and live in the U.K.) and the rest of the family have all been before (Americans). Fast and friendly service, food was spot on, we would come again but it’ll be on another visit to the U.S. as we’re only for two weeks and we’ve got a load more places to pack in! Great job Legends, keep doing what you’re doing!!

So I just moved to Shelbyville and went to the DQ Grill, looking forward to a Footlong Chili Dog, tried to find it on the menu but after guy who was behind asked if they had hot dogs (he didn't even know what they sell) found out they don't have or sell them. Being disappointed I ordered a burger and wanted they onion rings instead of fries but he must not of heard me, cause I got fries when it came. I just ate in left - DQ won't be getting my business ever here in Shelbyville. This maybe a franchise but a typical DQ Grill has the foot long!

Stopped in to check the place out - I got a Caramel Frappuccio with Mocha drizzle - it was god, but not as good as Starbucks. My wife got coffee & we shared a piece of pie - it was pecan pie turned upside down with cheesecake on the top! And cool whip!! OMG!! that was to die for!!! Great atmosphere & friendly staff.

I'm from Memphis and I know dry-rub ribs. Uncle Sonny's has it down just right. I highly recommend the fall-off-the-bone babyback ribs. The BBQ beans have chunks of pulled pork. There isn't much room for dining in. It's really setup for take out; so, drive through and pick up a platter of ribs, beans and potato salad, take it home and have a feast!

I've eaten there numerous times and have never been disappointed. Their food, although prepared in sometimes an eclectic style, always pleases. I think the chef tries very hard to be different and keep it interesting and mostly pulls it off. I highly recommend you try them out.

Pope's Cafe remains unchanged in the quaint country charm and good cooking that has made it a landmark in the South since its doors opened in 1947. Home made dessert and good ol' fashion country cooking make this an international destination.
I don't normally write negative reviews but an event that happened at Pope's this morning has me steaming. A nice middle aged lady who used to live in Shelbyville and has done loads of wonderful things for the town, came in to say hello to some friends that were eating there. One of the owners approached this lady with his arms crossed and gruffly told her that she needed to leave and that they didn't serve her kind there. He made her get up and leave in front of a diner full of customers. I will absolutely never spend another cent of my money at Pope's Diner. I don't care about quality of food, prices, or past reviews when a business owner humiliates good people in front of his customers.

First and foremost, this is NOT an Italian restaurant....it is an Overated Pizza Parlor with a few "Pasta" dishes.
Lasagna noodles with just a runny meat sauce and only mozzarella cheese does not constitute a "Lasagna". This in the end is what I ended up getting.
I asked about the Penne Pie to see what veggies like onions, peppers, tomatoes or mushrooms were with the Italian Sausage.....and None!
I was not in the mood to get a pizza, there are plenty of places to get one around town, I was looking for a dish!
So I asked about Calzones and Stomboli....none.
Granted the "Garlic" bread which I couldn't even tell if there was any garlic seasoning on it and the Lasagna did come out pipping hot, this was the only plus about the experience.
I will stick with travelling to another town to get my "Italian" fix.

I had a shrimp/broccoli dish. I enjoyed the Broccoli more than the shrimp. We did takeout. Fried rice came with dish-didn't appear fried-1/2 white-1/2 yellow-no flavor.

Was invited by friends to have dinner and drinks here. A little unsure before arriving but once here was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and kindness not only from the staff but as well by the towns residents.. food was great and I just enjoyed myself to the fullest.

We eat at Huddle House Everytime we are in town for a horse show. The food is always good and cooked the way we order it. The service is great and we receive our food quickly. Being open 24 hrs is great so we can go anytime of day.
