Took a chance to travel across the river to The Meat for dinner with a friend (both of us are steak lovers) and I must give this restaurant a full thumbs up for excellent service, great ambience and the some of the best steaks I have had in a while. We started with the Jumbo lump crab cakes, which were really really good, and has a little spice kick to it. We then had the lobster and scampi bisque, which was light but rich - superb. The came the real treats - the Changbai Mountain China sirloin, which had great marbling and flavour. After that came the Jackâs Creek F1 Wagyu, which had a more gamey taste, but we enjoyed it for its different flavour. I highly recommend this restaurant, even if you have a travel a bit to get there. With an amazing view from this restaurant we can have great steaks. Amazing taste plus exceptional service. Limited menu but still a lot. Chiwder as well as creamy spinach are out of this world.
