Stopped in here after hiking around the wildlife refuge. What a nice little place! It's a nicely converted country home surrounded by a nice garden (I even had some binoculars at my table for bird watching). Decor is very cozy/homey, with red checkered tablecloths and a wood paneled ceiling. We were greeted warmly at the door and were asked to please put our cell phones on vibrate! Food was great, I got the special (meatloaf and mashed potatoes), and my wife got the fettuccini alfredo, both very good. Best of all was the dessert; they have several house specialties, all of which I'm sure are good but I really liked the apple dumpling. They also sell other treats and teas. I highly recommend!

Rails Craft Brew & Eatery was first opened in Seymour, Indiana on May 5th, 2015. We are located next to the tracks in downtown Seymour known as the Crossroads of America. We have a wide variety in our menu including Bourbon Salmon, New York Strip Steaks, Jalapeno Popper Burgers, and cold-cut sandwiches including our famous "Rails Club". Our full service bars offers six different choices of beers on tap along with over 20 bottled beers and a nice selection of wines. Stop in for lunch or dinner at Seymour's favorite restaurant!
Nice little place in old downtown Seymour. Staff was great. I thought the food was just OK. I had French Onion soup, burger and fries. Standard stuff. It was one of the few bars open on a Sunday. There was a heavy smoking clientel, which had to go outside, but the smell drifted in and the doors kept opening and closing as these folks went in and out (it was cold and rainy). So, overall, 3 stars.

A staple of our family when we have gatherings or yard sales or just a Saturday morning is to get a dozen doughnuts. All different kinds. The doughnuts here are melt in your mouth good! They also do cakes too. Highly recommend!

We were a group of 14 golfers who hit the restaurant about 2:15. Naturally they were pretty empty but jumped to set up tables for us and started the chips and salsa to all of our group cleared the golf course and arrived.
Drink orders were taken promptly and food orders followed as golfers arrived.
They had the lunch menu open till 3 so that was a great deal for those going that route.
I ordered the chicken enchiladas with mole. Never miss ordering that dish as not all Mexican restaurants have that as an option. It was very good and sufficient to make two meals.
Service was prompt, accurate and the food was good.
Thanks El Nopal

Rolled in after closing in our RV. Four designated spots out back, we settled in for the night and waited for the restaurant to open for breakfast.
And it hit the spot. Not crowded, we were seated, ordered and were gnoshing within 10 minutes.
Right off the highway, this is a good one.

Love the townhouse. Staff are friendly, food is tasty and there's a nice variety! The varying plate lunch specials are awesome (home cooked food) and their breaded tenderloin deluxe and crinkle cut fries (like when you were a little kid) are the "Very BEST"! We are regulars-recommend you give it a go!!! Big YUM!
Carpe diem!

We stopped here after spending the night along the interstate. They offer an extensive breakfast menu with a lot of local favorites. I had the traditional bacon & eggs while my wife enjoyed the home-made waffles. She would have only ordered one if she had known how large each one was. The décor simple and very clean. The prices were actually low given the quality of food and superior service. Easy access from the interstate or near-by hotels is just one of the reasons we would definitely dine hear again regardless of time of day.

Attended the dinner theater performance of Little shop of Horrors. Food was above average for this type of buffet. Roast Beef was excellently prepared. Full bar, good dessert choices. Actors were excellent as was the performance value of the show.

Wife and I stopped in for dinner last night on way home. No wait. Food was fresh. Attentive waitress. Great tasting food. I even found a new appetizer...fried pickles...lol. Wife had the chicken and I had a steak. Cooked to perfection and tasty as heck. Stop in and check them out if you are in the area!
