Find out what Barbecue restaurants to try in Seychelles. Sailing, diving, fishing and relaxing are the main activities for visitors to the 155 islands of this Indian Ocean archipelago. Mahé, Praslin and La Digue are the most popular islands. Mahé boasts 65 silver beaches, plus an array of restaurants, cafés, bars and casinos in the tiny capital, Victoria. The Seychelles are home to UNESCO-designated sites, coral atoll Aldabra and Vallée de Mai, called the Garden of Eden. Creole is the main language, but English and French are widely spoken.

We popped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant is situated close to the beach, however, not on the beach. The food was good, a tad on the pricey side. For 4 beers and 2 main meals, we paid SCR1015. Thank you for your review!

Offering indoor and outdoor seating, we ensure that you enjoy direct sea views accompanied by the gentle lilting sound of the waves lapping on the shore, while savouring our wide selection buffet.
Thought we would try this on the first night as it was next to us, it was local night with a band playing why was quite good, the food also was good with plenty of choices and plenty of food for a buffet. The only downside was having to pay for still water, itâs the only place I have ever paid for water.Dear 432barrya,Thank you for your kind review. We are delighted that your dining experience was wonderful. Your feedback on the water will be shared with the Management.Regards,Gerard

Went there twice during g World Cup evenings. Itâs a local spot and the whole village goes there to watch the football, have beer and enjoy their local favourite take away. Great atmosphere, lovely people and reasonable prices. Definitely recommend.

We ate at the Boat House twice because it is conveniently located and has a great view of the beach. The first time was fish and chips, which were not bad, but it took about 30 minutes to get our food. They were not that busy so I donât understand why it took so long to get a simple dish. We tried it again the next day because La Plage restaurant across the road was temporarily closed. This time, the food took almost 45 minutes to arrive, and when it did, the tuna steak that I ordered to be cooked rare arrived well done. I sent the tuna back even though I was famished at that point, and they brought a replacement tuna steak within 5 minutes. This one was done medium-well, so I gave up and ate it anyway. If you are looking for fast food and decent service, try one of the other restaurants in the area.

Les Lauriers Restaurant is open 7 days a week serving our famous Creole Buffet from 7:30pm. Enjoy a range of delicious Creole salads and curries as well as a live BBQ where we grill freshly caught local fish and meats. All cooked to perfection. We are now
Very poor choice of buffet and rude french waiter that probably think that her buffet restaurant thing is a 3* Michelin and that we must be lucky to be at her tiny average buffet thing. Ridiculous. We are on our honeymoon and felt like that waiter has really spoiled our moment . Buffet : No creole curries : fish , octopus ( they had one pork curry with chunks of bones and grease). Bbq: chicken, beef and white fish that had no taste, so what are those incredible reviews about? Will not come back obviously and will tell of of the people we know to not go there if they go to Praslin. So much better places to go in Praslin! Without feeling humiliated by the waiter because we were not from that part of the island and didnât have the chance to change after the beach / daily activities. After we explained it and said we sorry she continued being arrogant . The restaurant was not full and people wore shorts and T-shirtâs . There are ways of saying something to your clientsIn our restaurant we have smart casual dress code at the restaurant particularly for the evening, in line with many other restaurants on the island. Despite this, we did still accomodate you in the restaurant after you explained you were staying the otherside of the island. We are however, very sorry to hear that you felt humiliated due to not having a change of clothes.. This is something that we would never have intended to do.

We shared a Seafood Parrillada main course (selections of seafood) and a seared tuna main course and enjoyed both very much. A down side for us was the seating on the veranda. Whilst it was pleasant to sit outside, the seating is a little uncomfortable and does not suit the table height! The beers are way above average price, SCR172 for a 500ml. draught & when you consider that they add on 10% service plus 15% VAT (not included in the menu price) it makes the experience really expensive. Restaurants outside of resorts include the VAT into the menu price & do not charge for service.Dear tonyandelaine,Thank you so much for your review,I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the food and will definitely share you comments with the ream.As for the Pricing, I do understand as Seychelles can become a bit pricey, so we make sure we keep in line with the same category establishments.I will be sure to give through your comments on the furniture and pricing as your comments are very important to us.Please do come and visit us again.Hope to welcome you back again soon.Kind regards,Melissa

Our beach-side sanctuary providing a romantic atmosphere with wonderful views of Beau Vallon Beach, whilst serving the freshest seafood and assorted cuts from the creole inspired barbecue.
We came to eat in Eden restaurant as H resort guests. Service was so welcoming and warm. The location of the restaurant is great, as it is just by the beach and it is so romantic dining while listening to the waves. But we experienced few things that we think didnât fit the standard of the resort: We felt that the food was not that amazing and wasnât worth the prices. My fish was over cooked and dry, the side grilled vegetables were lacking flavor and some were bitter, we had ants walking on our table...It is still very important to note that service was excellent, as the chef came to our table to figure out what we didnât like in the meal, and gave us a free dessert. But we still think that the total dinner experience wasnât worth the high prices and that the restaurant could improve. The H-Resort in itself was an amazing experience and we will definitely recommend staying in the resort!!Dear netaweitz,Thank you so much for your review, your input and comments really mean a lot to us.We will definitely have a brainstorm and feedback meeting with the chef and the team and our sincere apologies as what you experienced with the food is not in line with our standards. We pride ourselves in the freshness and robustness of Eden's food and hope that we can welcome you again in the near future so that you can experience really what we are made of.I wish you a lovely day.Kind regards,Melissa
