Reviews on Seafood food in Praslin Island, Seychelles. One of the Seychelles’ most popular destinations, Praslin is home to fantastic beaches and intimate hotels and resorts. Soak up the sun in style while you keep a sunglassed eye out for the very rare bird species that dwell on Praslin, including the Seychelles bulbul and the black parrot. Praslin National Park in the island's south contains the spectacular palm forest of Vallée de Mai. Divers love the ancient coral reefs off Praslin's shores.

We popped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant is situated close to the beach, however, not on the beach. The food was good, a tad on the pricey side. For 4 beers and 2 main meals, we paid SCR1015. Thank you for your review!

Great personal service. Great food. Great views, very chilled out atmosphere. The Wagyu burger is great!

Dhevataraâs à -la-carte Signature restaurant is where multi award winning Executive Chef, Kevin Rioux (Seychellois), delights his Guests through a combination of culinary traditions interpreted with ethnic savors from Mediterranean, Asian, and of course Cr
My wife and I enjoyed an excellent meal at this amazing hotel. The service was great and food was truly the best meal Iâve had all year. I had the local beef meatballs and creole ragu. My wife had a delicious chicken curry and rice. I then had n amazing crepe with the best orange juice reduction I have ever had. I cannot recommend this place more highly.Thank you so much for this very nice and rewarding review highlighting the quality of our food and the high level of our service. My team joins me to thank you for visiting us and we are looking forward to the pleasure of being again at your service in a near future.Sincerely,Rene

We went here on our first night on Praslin because it looked a bit smarter than some of the other places in the village. We started with a couple of margaritas (R160 each) which were OK but could have done with a bit less lime juice and a bit more tequila. For dinner we had tandoori chicken (R270, which again was OK but not great - it had way too many different ingredients on the plate and came with rather limp fries; and a chicken and prawn curry (R280, which was also just so-so). With a bottle of wine and service, everything came to R1370. Service wasnât unpleasant but was rather slow. Overall there was nothing really bad about the place, it just didnât wow us in any regard and we wouldnât rush back.

The ultimate in fine dining Set right on the beach, the Cafe des Arts Restaurant has earned its reputation as the best restaurant in Seychelles by creating outstanding mouth-watering dishes served in the most amazing setting. Seafood and epicurean dishes
We went there following recommendation from the very Old Polish Guidebook about Seychelles.Probably the best Restaurant in the Seychelles is my shortest comment about the experienced taste of food and the level of Service.Desserts are maybe too artistic and maybe therefore lost focus to be the an excellent final but despite this little disadvantage I am submitting absolutely honest reccomendation to spend a romantic evening in this restaurant placed right behind the Beach of Cote D'Or

We are currently staying at Le Duc de Praslin - wonderful location close to beach and various restaurants for dinner. It is quiet and it would have been great if the restaurant in the hotel was open more for meals but couldnât fault anything else. Lovely big bedrooms, comfortable beds, nice pool and a stunning beach!! Weâre having a great time!!

Popped here for dinner one evening and werenât disappointed. La Goulue is a relaxed, family-run creole restaurant that doesnât pretend to be anything else (and is all the better for that). The fish steak (tuna) and grilled whole fish were both really fresh tasting and were simple but well done. Washed down with 4 local beers and the total bill came to R650. Weâd certainly return and be happy to recommend this place for a relaxed dinner.

Les Lauriers Restaurant is open 7 days a week serving our famous Creole Buffet from 7:30pm. Enjoy a range of delicious Creole salads and curries as well as a live BBQ where we grill freshly caught local fish and meats. All cooked to perfection. We are now
Very poor choice of buffet and rude french waiter that probably think that her buffet restaurant thing is a 3* Michelin and that we must be lucky to be at her tiny average buffet thing. Ridiculous. We are on our honeymoon and felt like that waiter has really spoiled our moment . Buffet : No creole curries : fish , octopus ( they had one pork curry with chunks of bones and grease). Bbq: chicken, beef and white fish that had no taste, so what are those incredible reviews about? Will not come back obviously and will tell of of the people we know to not go there if they go to Praslin. So much better places to go in Praslin! Without feeling humiliated by the waiter because we were not from that part of the island and didnât have the chance to change after the beach / daily activities. After we explained it and said we sorry she continued being arrogant . The restaurant was not full and people wore shorts and T-shirtâs . There are ways of saying something to your clientsIn our restaurant we have smart casual dress code at the restaurant particularly for the evening, in line with many other restaurants on the island. Despite this, we did still accomodate you in the restaurant after you explained you were staying the otherside of the island. We are however, very sorry to hear that you felt humiliated due to not having a change of clothes.. This is something that we would never have intended to do.

Great service and amazing food. The place has been stylishly decorated whilst keeping the creole touch. Attentive staff were always pleasant and close by, offering assistance with a warm smile; anticipating our every need. Truly a memorable experience.
