We stopped by here for one night as part of our round the Mahé road trip. Itâs beautifully located on a hillside overlooking the ocean and is very clean and tidy. The rooms are spacious and well kept and the dining on the terrace looking out to sea relaxes you after a days travelling.
i just Want to give you the best of the typical seychelles food
If you want to try authentic creole food cooked in a Seychellois home you must go to this place. Food is good and much better value for money than at restaurants. The host is quite a character and will entertain you with her story and her singing.

From breakfast dishes from around the world to an evening menu inspired by the Indian Ocean. Start the day at Losean Restaurant with an enticing spread of breakfast classics, from fruit and cereal to pastries and Continental meats and cheeses, with a live
The Losean is one of the restaurants at Raffles Praslin and is where they serve breakfast each day, as well as being a full restaurant at night. The breakfast was consistently good, without being spectacular. One or two occasions they ran short of food and there was a wait while more was brought out, even when they weren't overly busy. Egg and omelet station staff were friendly and helpful and I generally enjoyed breakfast.Dinner was OK but as it is in Raffles, quite pricey for what you get. Service was very good, and they have some nice seating outside as well as inside. Outside was a little more romantic and the weather was good for outdoor dining.I recommend you dine here once while at Raffles, but then explore other options as PK's up the road from Raffles is an excellent cheaper alternative.
We have discovered this corner of paradise...Overlooking the turquoise shoreline this recently opened Victorian style cafe serves daytime meals and drinks using exceptionally fresh produce. Service is very friendly and personalized. What else do you need after sunny halfday on the beach - million worth view, wonderful food and friendly owner to great you... We went there two days in a row and will come again.Smoked fish salad is a must to have!

One of the best is the coconut cake which was unique and very creole in taste. Its a beautiful store with all the varieties of wines. Its a mini market where one can get all the basic needs. They have a cafe where they serve see good stuffs. Though a bit costly than other stores but its worth it. The cakes are yummy and the wide range of products are really worth seeing.

We popped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant is situated close to the beach, however, not on the beach. The food was good, a tad on the pricey side. For 4 beers and 2 main meals, we paid SCR1015. Thank you for your review!

The spot on Praslin's Cote D'Or beach for casual, affordable dining, the Acajou Beach Resort's Starfish Bar & Restaurant is open daily for both in-house residents and outsiders alike. The menu combines a selection of international bistro classics, salads
We stayed at Acajou for a few days and we were not disappointed. And we definitely was not disappointed by the Starfish Bar and Restaurant. It's easily accessible from the beach also if your staying somewhere else. They are only open for lunch. We had lunch there one day and it was very good. It is a little pricey, but then again, It's Seychelles. Everything is expensive.Lol. A must go! And staff very pleasant.

Went there twice during g World Cup evenings. Itâs a local spot and the whole village goes there to watch the football, have beer and enjoy their local favourite take away. Great atmosphere, lovely people and reasonable prices. Definitely recommend.

We went here on our first night on Praslin because it looked a bit smarter than some of the other places in the village. We started with a couple of margaritas (R160 each) which were OK but could have done with a bit less lime juice and a bit more tequila. For dinner we had tandoori chicken (R270, which again was OK but not great - it had way too many different ingredients on the plate and came with rather limp fries; and a chicken and prawn curry (R280, which was also just so-so). With a bottle of wine and service, everything came to R1370. Service wasnât unpleasant but was rather slow. Overall there was nothing really bad about the place, it just didnât wow us in any regard and we wouldnât rush back.

Popped here for dinner one evening and werenât disappointed. La Goulue is a relaxed, family-run creole restaurant that doesnât pretend to be anything else (and is all the better for that). The fish steak (tuna) and grilled whole fish were both really fresh tasting and were simple but well done. Washed down with 4 local beers and the total bill came to R650. Weâd certainly return and be happy to recommend this place for a relaxed dinner.
