Very quaint kitschy hotel

We stayed here for a couple of nights and really enjoyed it. The room was spacious and comfortable as were the beds (didn’t see any bed bugs). The downstairs is very quaint/Alaskan with lots of different animals on show. Wifi in the room is great Only downside is that we’d like to have dined in the restaurant on the ground floor but it’s so small we could never get in, so had to go into town for breakfast and dinner too. I think they could make better use of the ‘waiting area’ right outside the restaurant to increase capacity.

This lodge was incredible. I loved our room and the rustic look it offered. The room had an outside balcony and we were surrounded by beautiful trees and a peak of the mountain. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful place to stay. Clean and updated without losing the cozy charm. Brandon treats you like a friend staying at his own house. Close and convenient to everything, but off the beaten path. Would definitely look forward to staying there again in the future.

Perfect place to stay in Seward

Reviewed By Passport623929

My friends and I had an awesome stay at one of the yurts at the Nauti Otter. The yurt village was so fun and it was great to have an outdoor hostel environment here in the US where we were able to meet new people and chat with other travelers around the fire at night or while making waffles in the morning. The beds are super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook full dinners when we wanted to. Heather and Clint were really responsive with any questions and provided great recs for things to do in and around Seward. Bathrooms were cleaned everyday and guests seemed to take good care of the kitchen and clean up after themselves as well. The location is perfect, near downtown Seward and a number of great trailheads (Lost Lake, Tonsina Point, Exit Glacier, etc.). We loved that the yurt village was a little ways off the Seward Highway and secluded but still near everything, and it was a perfect home base for us all week. I would definitely stay here again!!

Private clean getaway with fabulous view!

Reviewed By Martha C

Recently having spent 6 nights in Seward, I was more than pleased with my accommodations! I requested the 2nd floor knowing it didn't have an elevator but wanted a private view of the mountains which is exactly what I got! (Room 204) The queen bed was very comfy, the large bathroom and closet were an added bonus! I wished there had been shelving in the closet for some of my clothes. The full kitchen was a must as I did not eat out often, and there was a decent supply of cookware, etc. The added amenities such as coffee, filters, ziplock bags, and even toilet paper were a great bonus, and I contributed to some of the basic supplies being a condo owner knowing how appreciated the extras are when you are on vacation. Since it is relatively new, I am assuming they are going to add a sign on the road otherwise you wouldn't know where your turn is without maps on your phone! I also wish there had been a bit more lighting besides the overhead, but there was a wall light with a book light for guests which was helpful. I will also add that the numbers on the room are hard to read, and I spotted other guests having a hard time reading the numbers as well so just thought I'd mention that! The lodge was less than 10 minutes from downtown Seward so it was an easy drive into town. The owner John was very friendly and on site often, and I loved seeing his 2 dogs enjoying the beautiful area! I would 100% recommend The Spruce Lodge and will stay there again next time I'm in Seward!

Twin Peaks lodge is a gem of a place to stay while in Seward Alaska. The quaint lodging is in a unique house with a B&B feel (without the food). Great parking. Rooms are not fancy.. Our only concern was we did not understand that the kitchen area needs to be clean while off doing our thing. We were not introduced to the staff or caretaker.

Marina Motel

Convenient location, comfortable rooms all with small refrigerators and some with microwaves and beautiful views.

The motel has some bad reviews but we had an excellent experience.

Reviewed By Aleksandra M

When I was booking the motel I noticed not-so-great reviews but I decided to book anyways for two reasons. One, it is a walking distance from the port, the restaurants and a grocery supermarket. Second, it was very affordable. The location could not be better - it took us 5 minutes to walk in the morning to the cruise check in. We stayed in the room on the second floor and we had no issues. The room was a tad outdated but it was clean and quiet. It had a working refrigerator. There is free coffee in the lobby in the morning. The manager was extremely nice and accommodating, you can tell he actually cares about making sure the guests are comfortable. The only thing I could point to is the appearance of the motel on the outside (a little worn for sure) but it didn't bother us. We knew this was a roadside motel and we expected it. You can't beat the price there - it is the most affordable place in Seward. If you are looking for a place to sleep and convenience, this is a good place to book.

Worse hotel in our holiday ??

The worse hotel room in my life! I can’t believe my husband paid $235 x night. We paid x 2 nights & was a total nightmare. The hotel it’s falling apart. Everything cracks & there it’s holes in the wall! The shower drips. The best of all was Jorge, the receptionist. He was amazing! ?
