A lovely hotel in the heart of the biggest Italian Olympic ski-area Via Lattea (400km of fantastic slopes), near the ski-lifts.
Basic but clean. With nice staff and ample breakfast. Wellness centre is relaxing and well thought out. Restaurant is a bit stark in the evening but the bar is cosy and comfy. Staff- Urda- work hard and are always friendly and welcoming. If skiing use the ski storage near the lifts to avoid the annoying walk with skis. Not much choice locally for restaurants or bars. A very quiet hamlet.

Have just returned from a week in Sestriere staying in the Olympic Village Hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area especially families. We visited with our two children aged 2 &4. What we were most impressed by was the kids club from 2-5pm resulted in us being able to ski together. The crew there Tommaso, Tobia, Arianna, Mirco & Martina were brilliant with our kiddos. The location is great with a chairlift and magic carpet less than 200m away with the village centre 500m up the road. The food was good value, lunch was 18e take away and also bad value 114e sit down dinner. Also the swimming pool was 40e which we felt should have been complimentary. In the whole we look forward to returning next year.

We stayed at Hotel Du Col in March '22. The rooms had plenty of space, looked great and the shower was always hot and welcome after a days skiing. The boot room is a short walk through the underground carpark to where you can put your skis on and off you go! The food was buffet style, always good quality, plenty of it and plenty of choice. The croissants at breakfast were especially amazing! They have a small lounge with comfy chairs and a bar by the reception and a much bigger Pub downstairs with a huge screen, pool table and much more seating, perfect for some drinks before your evening meal. The hotel is right where you want to be in Sestriere, easy access to slopes, hire shops, bars and shops. Would happily go back again! Highly recommend it.

The suites, divided into four categories based on size, are based on the constellations that make up the Milky Way, named after the ski area Sestriere which is the center. Hotel Shackleton Resort Hotel is a family affair. Excellent personal attention by the owner Davide Coda and his family. He provides ski lessons and is a ski guide. The hotel is well situated next to the ski lifts. After going to several restaurants in town, we found his food and ambiance some of the best In Sestriere. We highly recommend staying and eating there.

A historic and exclusive Hotel that has a tradition of international renown since 1930. Principi di Piemonte Hotel in Sestriere is the ideal place to live and enjoy the mountain in all its aspects. Located at 2035 above sea level, the Principi di Piemonte Hotel enjoys a prime location, adjacent to the slopes of the Vialattea linking Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, Claviere, Oulx, Cesana, San Sicario and Pragelato Montegenevre (France), and near the golf course, it is the perfect destination for your ski holiday in winter or for a dive in the nature and sport in summer. Try the experience of coming back to the hotel with the ski still on your feet and allow yourself to try our modern and equipped spa. Enjoy the taste of our fine cousine and relax drinking your favourite drink in front of the fireplace at the Lounge bar. At Principi di Piemonte Sestriere the tradition of hospitality renews itself every day to make your stay unforgettable.
The hotel overall can only earn an OK grade. The hotel has excellent location. The best part is the breakfast, it offered great selection of foods with quality meats and fresh salad. But for the room it offered no free bottle of water nor any cups to drink. It has no hot water maker. The only cup is bathroom disposable thin plastic cup . The shower did not work at all in our room. I end up using the bath tub which is not very safe for seniors. The parking cost 39 euro was too steep. We want to try the restaurant but we were turned away @ 9:00 pm even though the closing time was 9:30. We had our tea at the hotel bar that was excellent. I must say overall I was disappointed. I did not have a 5 star hotel experience.

The Sestriere Olympic Village is a unique space built in order to remember that Sestriere has had an hystorical role as Olympic venue. Perfectly ensconced in the natural landscape that surrounds it, the Olympic Village overlooks the breathtaking scenery of Argentera Valley and Monti della Luna Mountains. The resort has been conceived in full respect of the surrounding territory and includes 7 different buildings named from A to F plus a last block named G, easy to identify because of its big window tunnel roof. Here, it is set the global polyfunctional area which overlooks the newly open sky slopes for beginners. The other services at disposal of our guests are located in a global multifunctional area: 2 bars, self service, restaurant, pizzeria, bar Risto Grill on the roof top, wine-shop.
I read some poor reviews before we arrived and dismissed them as being written by fussy reviewers. Unfortunately, they were right. The apartment for 4 was not fit for self-catering. We had 3 cups, 3 bowls, 2 teaspoons, 1 wine glass, a mixed selection of beer glasses stolen from bars, 2 tiny pans, 1 enormous pan, 1 tiny frying pan, 1 tiny espresso pot. We DID NOT have a bread knife, wooden spoons, serving spoons, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, can opener etc. All of this was dirty on arrival and we had to wash it before use. The kitchen only had 2 electric rings and no oven. Cooking with such limited equipment is a real pain. The TV didn't work. The WiFi didn't reach the apartment. The shower cubicle leaked. A horrible smell built up during the day from somewhere behind the kitchen units. The apartment was incredibly noisy. People were returning from bars singing and shouting at 3 a.m 6 nights out of 7. The corridors have ceramic floors, so the noise really carried. Wore ear plugs every night and still got woken a few times every night. Good points... close to the slopes, decent size apartment. Summary.... the worst self-catering apartment I have been to in 35 years of ski holidays.

The hotel Savoy is located in the centre of the village, in an enviable position, you don't need any transportation. Possibility of internet connection and wi-fi. Free ski and ski-boots storage in the hotel and on the slopes (near the ski school). New Spa.
Clean and comfortable. Outstanding meals and friendly service. Convenient for the ski lifts and for the town centre. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel . Booked via Crystal but also popular with plenty of Italian guests. No real downsides except the view from our room wasn't fantastic . Relatively quiet area.

Beautiful and lovely residence, brand new building in the heart of Sestriere, built entirely in stone and wood. The residence is centrally located, 100 meters from the lifts and 300mts from the center of the village. The environment is particularly suitable for younger groups, couples, families of 3 or 4 people and all those who want to spend a holiday in an independent and welcoming environment. A covered and heated garage in the basement is available for the clients upon requests. Satellite TV, SKY TV, available for free in all apts and rooms.
Absolutely lovely accommodation with a bakery/deli opposite. Our room was perfect with planty of storage spac for the 3 of us. It was spotlessly clean, fresh, super king comfy bed. Asked for additional pillows, and a they were there when we got back. Sylvia went above and beyond in ensuring our trip was great including sorting out lift passes and private transfers as well as making great recommendations for ski school and spa treatments. Thank you Sylvia.

Cheap, very friendly staff, very clean rooms, toilets and importantly very nice food. The beds were relatively poor and the rooms were a bit noisy. Based on the poor review of the food on this hotels our expectations were low. They were however put to shame by the massive evening starter buffet with a huge selection of freshly prepared dished and fine main courses to add every day topped by a dessert buffet. Breakfast was a bit below average but ok value for money with the regular essentials such as juice, coffee, yogurt, cereals, baguette, cheese and ham. Small but great selection of wine, beer and drinks we available. The location of the hotel is a painful 10 min. walk away from the slopes in skiboots, so it is recommended to invest in the hotel shuttle bus service. Free wifi speed was useless. But all in all great value for money and recommendable.
