We stopped at the Restoran Kolarac for lunch. We started with the grilled mushrooms which were excellent. I had the grilled trout fillets, which were beautifully prepared and delicious. My husband had the wiener schnitzel, also excellent, and we finished with an amazing dessert, a white chocolate mousse with raspberries and Bailey's that was one of the best desserts I've ever had. Not only that, our waiter kindly helped with some old family photos taken in Belgrade in the 1930s and 1940s. Not only did he translate the notations on the back of the pictures, but he and a colleague also helped us find out that one of the pictures was taken not 200 metres from the restaurant. The menu has a lot of choices and the food is nice. However, the service is very slow (we waited over 45 minutes for our food). When we got our food, we orderded some extra fries. These arrived 15 minutes after we've finished our food. We visited on a sunday afternoon and the place was not that crowded...

Place is rather small but worth a visit. Location is in one of the old town side streets.Grill is first rate and salads are good too - in Serbia meet is the king, salad is just something that comes along :-)Gurmanska pljeskavica is great eat, and you will not leave hungry.

We had a 6-hour layover in Belgrade on our way to Istanbul and we wanted to eat something good so we came here and we nailed it. The food was good, the service was great and the place is beautifully decorated. Would be amazing if they would have the Menu in English but it didnât matter because between the waiter and google translate we manage to pick our food.

this restaurantserevesbalkan food with an Israseli twist (they said one of its owners is an Israeli), we had cedasar salad with chicken and kebab "Al -ha-esh" (barbicue in Hebrew), which were very nice.It was Sunday noon, nice weather , and there wew many families with the kids, dining at the garden.

First, the most thing is our beautiful waitress is very very kind and sweet. The spaghetti carbonara is full of tasty cheese. The steak is good, but the grilled vegetables are even better!! Soup is warm. Good choice for winter. And I mis ordered my dessert. Itâs a little bit too sweet for me. Fabulous restaurant for foreigners to try the local as well. Love it. I choosed this restaurant without any advice. I found it good. They serve tipical dishes but also simple grilled meat as well as vegetarian dishes. It is possible to seat outside and it is confortable on Summer. The portion are very large so if you are alone and you are not ungry you will be not able to finish all! We entered the restaurant on a cold and rainy Belgrade night, unsure of what to expect and were immediately made to feel comfortable by our server (Iâm sorry I donât remember his name) who had that mystical ability to be invisible and yet be present the moment you thought of him. If youâre unfamiliar with Serbian food - choose the incredibly well priced Sampler Menu (26 Euro) which means you get to eat every dish on the menu. Wow!! We couldnât even get through half of it and every single dish was amazing.
