Reviews on Seafood food in Belgrade, Serbia. Belgrade's long and storied history is suggested by its architecture, which varies from Byzantine and Ottoman to neoclassic and romantic buildings in the older neighborhoods, and from Art Nouveau to brutalism and neo-Byzantine design in New Belgrade. The city's many theaters, museums, monuments and opera houses boast a deep and fissured cultural life while the beaches and rivers attract sunbathers, sports enthusiasts and partygoers on the popular floating river barges that serve as nightclubs.

Previously called Langouste, then changed to Faust and now back to Langouste. Setting is great, view on the Sava river, they also have a terrace, which should be open now.Went for dinner. Service is very good. There is a degustation menu which I tried, nearly all was very good and tasty, although personally I didn't find the chicken at the end that great (average). The people I was with had a shrimp risotto followed (risotto was excellent although they didn't like the half raw shrimps) by a filet steak which was good, and the other had a grilled shrimp which was a bit skimpy but good. All in all to be recommended. The chef is French, so something fairly new for Belgrade.

A Serbian friend took us to this restaurant to welcome us to Belgrade and it was a really beautiful experience. Stunning riverside location and a wonderful selection of river fish and seafood, beautifully prepared and presented with excellent service. I chose the grilled squid and my fellow diners had mussels and perch - all of us were very pleased. Grilled polenta was delicious. A strolling band - and wedding party in the adjoining room - added to the ambience. Zemun is lovely in general and this place is a delight. A great choice for a special evening.
