We had a lunch there. The food was OK and they made a crape for me because it was my birthday. It turned out that they wouldn't accept the credit card, we paid in cash (Euro) and were charged 15% more that we should when they worked out the exchange rate, which left us with bad experience as a whole.

Restaurant " Krešimir " is located in the center of Senj , near by the bus station, located above the Adriatic highway and only 20 meters from the sea . Restaurant consists of a large closed hall with 120 seats and the open Terrace of the same capacity. Throughout the history of Senj , from the catering aspect the space of the restaurant " Krešimir " occupies special place since the same space has always been a function of providing catering services to citizens of the town, travelers and tourists . Many remember the morning coffee on the Terrace in the idyllic atmosphere , ...
The place was crowded with locals, so it must good, musn't it? Not so, turns out to be a family celebration of sorts and they were all quickly departing as we sat down on the spacious but breezy Terrace. That left just 2 other couples and ourselves to enjoy the view and the silence. The food was typically Croatian in both servings size (massive) quality (always a twist on what you expect) and presentation ( home cooking style)..
Beef Stroganoff was my choice and it came with lots of beef which was reasonably tender and flavoursome, it did have cream but the whole dish was overpowered somewhat by the onions and carrot and there was not enough rice in proportion to the stroganoff. My wife made the mistake of ordering the grilled mixed meat dish. There was way too much of every kind of grilled meat you could name. It could have fed 3 people never mind one. She picked her way through about a quarter of it and was full but totally disappointed with the flavours.
With 2 glasses of house wine the bill came to £36-50

Restaurant Zagreb is located at 3 kilometers from Senj on the right of the road towards Rijeka. The Terrace is enclosed with glass and offers a delightful and sunny view of the sea. The tasty specialties are carefully prepared fresh fish and a variety of meat meals served by pleasant and polite personnel. During the summer the Terrace offers cool refreshment. There is 150 sitting places inside the restaurant, and about 50 sitting places on the Terrace. Restaurant Zagreb has a great pleasure and honor to welcome you, your family, friends or business partners and provide you with an unforgettable experience of delicious meals and drinks with a beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea.

We are small family restorant with Croatian and Mediterann food. Every day we had fresh fish and fresh meat. We have several house specialitet and we are famouse because of that.
We stayed few days in Senj, and we searched for best places to eat. It was very hot day and we sat outside, ordered grilled squid, salmon and few other items. My fish was somehow dry, but squid and greens were delicious. The place itself is cute, small family oriented and they use small metal bowls, reuseble items...
We had nice dinner all together...

We are a small restaurant a little bit out of Senj center. We serve mostly fresh fish and seefood if it is possible. We also have vegeterian and meat dishes. We are open usually from April till October, it could vary from April/May till September/October.
We went for the fish platter for two. It was superb. Sardines, sea bass, langoustines and an extremely tasty fish / olives risotto. All washed down with local white wine followed by a local plum brandy "on the house". Not cheap, but good value considering the time and effort put in and the wonderful flavours of the food. And all in an idyllic seaside setting. A wonderful evening indeed.

Good basic food and not expensive. Do not expect too much hospitality. It is not possible to pay with credit cards, kunas and euros only?! Not fancy place, but you can eat and drink good and quite cheap!

We stayed in Bunica and had dinner there two times. Seafood was very fresh and so it was tasty and also the meat from grill. Everything we tasted was very good, except for octopus in salad which was a bit bland. The prices are very reasonable, environment peaceful, go there if you are in the area or travelling nearby.

The Terrace was very nice, therefore we chose this restaurant. Our waiter was very friendly, and we did not had to wait long for our food. We ordered two pizza's, carbonara and chicken with fries. The food was very salty, it was not good. I would not recommand this restaurant.
