Reviewed By JGPolWij verbleven in een chalet voor 2 personen. Het was niet nieuw, maar alles was aanwezig. De eigenaar is erg behulpzaam. Douchekop is vervangen, matrassen worden nog vervangen. Het restaurant er naast is prima. Wel moet je goed van tevoren reserveren.

Great hospitality, excellent dining & rooms
Reviewed By SJRDDown to earth and amazingly friendly! It's obvious that Peter and Rita love what they do. The staff is attentive, dishes are surprisingly good and the hotel rooms nice and clean. We had a perfectly hosted wedding here, stayed two nights and felt completely at home.

Reviewed By Lindaholland1Ik ben heel hartelijk ontvangen in de winkel en begeleid naar mijn appartementje nr 6. Daar was ik wel even in tweestrijd: ben ik nu in 2022 of toch in 1970? De badkamer is heel ruim en supermodern, de kamer zelf (nog?) niet. Er staan meubels waar een vintage winkel jaloers op zou zijn. Het is wel een ruime kamer met in de gang een koelkastje en magnetron, in het dressoir stond serviesgoed en bestek. Erop koffie (zonder capsules) en thee faciliteiten. Geen gelegenheid om zelf eten te bereiden. Ontbijt bijgeboekt voor 7,50€ deze kan vanaf 9:00 in het restaurant genuttigd worden of daarvoor op de kamer. Het werd keurig de dag ervoor gebracht en was meer dan voldoende. Er zit een snackbar en een restaurant op loopafstand, evenals een supermarkt.

Lovely escape from busy and noisy city life
Reviewed By goyourownwayN52°56'30.4" E7°6'58.5" In one of the most densely populated countries on earth, the municipality of Vlagtwedde is an exception and has the population density of Scandinavia. During a day trip through field and forest, you’ll hardly meet anybody. It is a perfect escape from busy and noisy city life near the Dutch-German border. Bed & Breakfast Ter Borg is on the Westwolde trail, 20 km of winding roads through intimate and private landscapes, fens, meandering streams and pieces of heath, wood and field, all managed by the forestry commission Staatsbosbeheer. Start exploring this nature reserve at the Noordmee forestry in Sellingen and follow the the river Ruiten Aa becoming a meandering river again. Enjoyable in every sense. Not on the Westerwolde trial but in the vicinity is the Bourtange fortress, a historic defense structure for the Eighty Years’ War with the Spanish. A visit worthwhile. The B&B is a labor of love and you can find dedication in every detail. The breakfast is a surprise of locally produced food from delicious bread, home-made marmalade, German ham to fresh eggs from the ladies in the barn. With only 2 rooms, the owner has time to give you advise on every aspect of the Westerwolde trial. During our stay for 3 nights in April 2012, we found the bed to sleep excellent. Wi-Fi, satellite-television, air-conditioning for hot summer nights is available in the room. Outside is a garden for the guests, which can be used for camping. Bicycles are free of charge available to the guests.

Reviewed By AES132Sellingen liegt in eine sehr angenehme Umgebung und die B & B de Hassehof liegt darin sehr zentral. Wir waren hier 2 Tage. Gute Restaurants in der Umgebung. Obwohl man das nur am Abend braucht, weil das Frühstück so reichhaltig und gut ist, das man über Mittag nichts mehr braucht. Die Betty und Martin machen sich grosse Mühe auch selbstgebackenes oder selbst fabriziertes zu servieren, Alles einfach sehr fein. Betten gut, Parking unter Dach, auch sehr angenehm. Schöner Garten mit Tisch und Stühle. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.
