Really fun and chilled vibe. Staff couldn't have been nicer and more alive. Truly wonderful service. The ribs were tasty and well cooked, smothered in sauce. Portions are pretty big for all and prices are really reasonable for what you get (they also do happy hour).Great place.Hello chrissF2062JV,Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. A new vibe in the heart of Kuala Lumpur serving delicious seafood cuisine. A sexy cocktail bar on the upper deck serving variety of cocktails and not to be missed "Blue Margarita" and "Mojito" at RM10++ during happy hour daily from 12noon to 3pm, and from
Overall, the restaurant is very good. Attentive service, tasty food, cozy atmosphere. I ordered Pier 12 Garlic prawns and seafood marinara. Both dishes were recommended by a waiter. Garlic prawns are indeed excellent. Marinara was missing something. Pasta portion is big! I liked how Chilli crab for 20RM looked like but could not eat more. Desserts also looked very attractive on the menu. Both white wines that offered by glasses should be changed. They are simply not good. It seems that the wines have been chosen by a person, who does not actually drink wine. And the waiter should first ask, if a customer wants ice in the wine. I was surprised to see plastic flowers on the tables. It is Malaysia after all!.. Is not it expensive to get fresh flowers twice a week? The shells in the restaurant look empty. The inner design may be further improved.

We came to this corner location with high hopes. I'd eater here once before and enjoyed the service and food. The menu is pretty extensive so it takes time to study, esp. if hungry. We saw they offered Guacamole so order that to start. They brought it quickly, chips plus a central serving of Guac...SMOTHERED in some white sauce that looked like mayonnaise? We rejected it, expecting them to return quickly with fresh guac to enjoy. Instead we saw 3 others being asked what to do? Then they returned with the same serving with as much of the white cream they could shave off. Rejected again. One might think someone would simply refresh the quac and be done with this hassle? Then they brought my friend's food but not mine. I offered my friend should start but he refused, insisting he wait until my food arrived. So after ten more minutes, as his food continued to get cold, I finally signaled a staff: "This is a restaurant, you bring the food for a table of two at the same time." Apologies offered, some scurrying, then my dish appeared. Food was tasty and serving sizes good. Staff seems efficient UNLESS a problem. Won't return, as not inexpensive.Dear jmptrips Thank you for your constructive feedback with regards to your visit to our outlet and we sincerely regret the less than pleasant experience you had with us. Lovely casual décor inside - very nicely designed but not ostentatious. Good helpful staff service and a very enjoyable eveningSweet potato croquettes - good. Duck prosciutto with figs - very good. Risotto - excellent. Chicken schnitzel - OK; nicely cooked but with hindsight there were more exciting dishes on the menu.Plus a chocolate cake(read mousse in our view) which was very good as well.Fair prices for a very good dining experience.

We are a fast casual restaurant that specializes in Asian-style BBQ Pork Ribs & lots of other pork recipes which you can enjoy as a sandwich, with pork lard rice or pasta. All set in an interior that will leave you tickled. If you love pork then you'll lo
Very interesting place. Even the menu is entertaining to read. The decor is charming and witty. Nice place to hang out. The lady boss is extremely knowledgeable about pork - down to details of how pork from different regions can taste different. E.g. when we ordered the ribs, she explained that Malaysian local pork is firmer. If we like our meat firm. but if we prefer it all soft, then American pork. So we tried the American pork ribs and sure enough it was falling off the bone soft. Lovely. The pulled pork burger was a bit too sweet for me.We also had the mantou thingy - it reminded me of Esquire Kitchen's mantou and stewed pork, except here it is not literally swimming in oil like in Esquire (I happen to prefer my pork to be overflowing with oil, so ... I prefer Esquire. Those who like it less oily and lardy would prefer the Ticklish Ribs version)

The Point is an intimate venue which combines two different concept under one roof. A charming restaurant that offers modern creative fusion dishes in a casual dining environment and lounge bar serving crafted liquors, speciality cocktails and tasty tapas
We made reservations as we were a group of 8 and expected a restaurant with such good reviews , would be busy on a weekend. We however ended up as the only customers there. The food was quite good but the portions were very small and would not be sufficient for someone with a big appetite. What was most disappointing was the service. For what you pay in a restaurant like this I would expect impeccable service and not having to deal with someone who looks like they canât wait for you to leave . There was no attempt to engage with us to make recommendation for food or drinks . Only when asked for something would we get a response and not once with even a hint of a smile . Given the experience , I would certainly not recommend this overrated restaurant to anyone . I provided 2 stars because the quality of the food was reasonable otherwise my rating would have been 1 ! Dear Malini, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at The Point Restaurant & Wine Bar. We are dedicated to continually improving our service, so your feedback is greatly appreciated.Rest assured your comments will be deliberated and improved.
