Outdoor for both lunch and dinner. Indoors open only for lunch.
Tandoori roti is good. The mango lassi and plain lassi remains the same. Mutton Rogan Ghosh...looked like cooked mutton and some prepared gravy poured over. Very tough, like half cooked mutton. Lots of mosquitoes at night due to the fish pond. I use to enjoy the North Indian cuisine here. It's a pity the standard has dropped. Chef should not underestimate customers. We know how a dish we ordered should taste. I hope the owner reads this and corrects the chef.
As a regular visitor to Thailand, PIM Thai food in Klang is superb. I especially recommend Fresh Boneless Deep-fried Siakap & their LAVA Seafood rice topped with 2 reasonable steamed prawns. The eggs that wraps around the rice in the Lava Seafood is out of this world. You have to try it to know how smooth and delicious it can be. Their fish as describe in their menu is REAL fresh. I left the place & told myself that " I SHALL BE BACK FOR MORE "
Popular with many KL Lites who drive to Klang for Seafood and toddy; a combination that ensures a good cleanse in the digestive system. On that note, we went last weekend to this restaurant. In hindsight, Saturday would be better as Sunday can be spent recuperating from said cleanse:)For first timers, do not go at night as the road to this off the beaten path restaurant can be tricky and with not much lighting on the roads. We went armed with 2 GPS, Waze ,google map and someone who has been there before and we still found it a challenge.Still the eventual find was a good one. GPS is E101.21.58.3 N3.6.11.4The restaurant is open air; with high ceilings, practical factory floors which were clean, and serves food with the standard plastic cutlery. The kitchen area looks well-organized, there are some tanks of fresh seafood and the whole place has a rustic, suspended-in-time look to it.We saw no menu and efforts to get recommendation from the lady-in-charge was met with curt tone. It seems other customers are all regulars.Still we persist and we would recommend: curry prawn mee ( served with mee on the side) - very sweet curry packed full of flavors fresh decent sized prawn, oyster in superior sauce with lots of ginger, house specialty pork ribs in honey sauce, lala meehoon, and 3 kinds of vegetables in belacan sauce. We spotted kerabu squid and fried squid and small fishes in next tables and this should also be good. Avoid the crabs, they are overpriced for the small sizes and do not taste too fresh. Prices are about PJ's tai chows, not exactly cheap given the location and ambiance but food is good, especially with the free corkage and most tables go down the road to buy the toddy (fermented coconut drink) which has cleansing properties.Be warned though, the toilets are the basic type and not too clean you will face a challenge if the cleanse works too fast- the drive back to PJ takes at least 30 minutes!
Klang Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Klang
This restaurant and other various restaurants are in this neighborhood but the area is not very clean. There are several stripped down cars in the streets, lots of trash on the streets as well. This area is not for everyone. The food was pretty good. We had the hot pot with there original setup in their original broth, There are 3 other types of broth to choose from. I would probably go there again.

Visited Hing Ket with friends recently after the last visit which was several years ago.The food is not as good as those days where diners had to be at the restaurant before 7.00pm, or else have to wait for you to be served.... today's food is expensive and yet its taste is moderate only. Two pieces of the grilled lamb are extremelylittle...!Not many customers compared to years ago.

This restaurant is located terok gong, Klang 40mins drive from damansara. Highly recommended their Tom yum prawn in coconut, the freshness of the prawns enhanced the taste of the Tom yum soup, and you can find a great deal for the crabs. If you were a fans of coconut flower liquor, you can get it there. approximate rm 20-40 per person.

Our local friend took us to this nice restaurant quite late, but were told as long as we ordered the food before the closing time, they don't mind if you stay longer having a drink. They don't exactly have a menu but you could explain your order and they make it for you. We tried their fried rice, mixed vegetables, batter fried prawns, chili crab, chili chicken and sweet and sour fish. All the dishes were quite good- not exceptionally delicious but very tasty. Service was great as well and the food was prepared quite fast. Definitely a great place for dinner and beer.
Well everything is made from lard (so not for non pork eaters, vege and vegans).their speciality is the bubur goreng but its an acquired taste.personally i prefer the normal porridge and i dont feel anything special about this fried porridge. Better menu selection was the hokkien mee, lala stir fry, teo chew fish, stor fry vege and their crispy chicken.it was 7 of us and we paid rm30/pax.please go early as it is always crowded.

For those who want to try seafood, this is one of those restaurants that provide authentic seafood which is Halal also catering for Muslim. The seafood is fresh. The dishes that l particularly like is the Drunken prawn and the "Marmick" crab dish. The Steam fish is good which we never miss each time we go there. The location is at the north port warehousing area by the beach. ls about 45 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur. It is built on stilts out to the waterfront by the beach side. You can choose to sit in the open air to have a view or the air conditioned room where there is no sea view. There are many patrons coming all the way from Kuala Lumpur to dine there over the weekends. It has also a good windy view over the sea in the evening when the tide is high. The price is reasonable and would certainly be much cheaper if you take the same seafood in Kuala Lumpur. Highly recommend this restaurant though there are many more such seafood restaurants along the same long stretch of road.
