The restaurant is located in the middle of the woods. The food is very good and the service very friendly. The prices are amazing. Please note that one portion is enough for two people. Not tp be missed.

Excellent cuisine, looks like home made food. Very good service. Portions are more than generous, and the prices perfectly reasonable. Very well located in the center of the city. Wonderful experience.

We enjoyed a late lunch at the museum's restaurant. It has a great view over the valley and is an important part of the "Museum for the Bread".
The buffet is about 10 meters long and has everythng one can wish for; hors d'oeuvres, fish, meat, vegetables and some really great desserts. Really yummie.
The service was quick and friedly.

After a steep climb we arrived at an idyllic location near a river, a bridge and 9 small chapels: an amazing location. In a corner next to the bridge we found the tiny restaurante Margarida1.
We were the first guests that night at 20.00 h end of August. A quarter of an hour later arrived another 4 people.
We asked for 2 mains, wine and water. The waitress was a but pushy to advert more, but finally left us alone. The lamb was good, the bacalau (cod), floating in olive oil with boiled potatoes and a cut tomato very basic.
The ambiance is like a cave, authentic, open kitchen, and decorated with local issues. The Always present Television is ennoying and not essential: nobody looks at it.
The price/quality is okay.

As we were passing by Seia, went to Espaço Ego to have lunch with a friend who suggested it. Usually, you could expect traditional portuguese food, but I was in for a suprise. The decoration was very good, giving a classic but tastefull atmosphere. The menu had salads, fish, meat, and some amazing natural juices. The dishes had some king of inovation, with fruits and very tasty food. In the outside, there was a great place to hang out and enjoy the good weather. Surely I will recommend it to everyone who wants something different in Seia, and for a really low price!

The name of the hotel/ restaurant come from the name of the owner, Mr Jorge CAMELO. Even tough the bedrooms are not very big, the cuisine is fantastic and the service is amazing. Please try the chocolate mouse...DearDaniel G Thank you for your kind feedback. We look forward to welcome you back in our restaurante. Miguel Camelo Diretor

The food is fantastic if you manage to ignore the constantly repeating (and stopping) easy listening smooth music collection (nothing Portuguese here !), which drove us mad ! Service and food are great and the views incredible.
If you are not bothered by generic easy listening Muzak type of music then you will have a wonderful time.

We were recommended this restaurant by the Casa do pastor appartments. The waitress, Hanah was fantastic, very friendly and explained each of the dishes to us in English (much better than an English menu). The food was lovely and as it was all home made we were able to change the dishes to suit the children's tastes i.e a dish of broccoli and carrots and hamburger without sauces etc. My wife had a type of cod in sauce dish which she loved and my son had a minute steak. I had a home made chicken with ham and cheese in breadcrumbs all lovely with sies of salad, chips and vegetables at an amazing price too! I would love to go back and would recommend it. Be warned though, we had to go and get cash to pay as the cards excepted are very limited, I think this is a common problem in this part of Europe at the moment?

Almoçamos 9 pessoas, Bacalhau à Zé do Pipo , Feijoada , Leitão e Costeletas de Borrego. Todos os pratos e estavam óptimos na a apontar, melhor impossível.
As sobremesas caseiras, leite creme e arroz doce igualmente óptimas.
Atendimento muito atencioso, foi-nos perguntado e queríamos repetir a sobremesa e 2 pessoas repetiram e não foi cobrado mais por isso.
Pagamos 63€ por entradas ,pratos sobremesas, cafés.
Recomendo vivamente. 5 estrelas.
